Path of Exile is a video game of the ARPG and MMO genre which is set in a fantasy world. It was developed by Grinding Gear Games for the Microsoft Windows platform. Its official release on the market was on October 23, 2013 for the aforementioned platform by Grinding Gear Games. The story of the game as I mentioned before is based on a dark fantasy game, where the character must face great challenges, because it is in a place where they send all those who are exiled from their homeland, where crime and battles are the order of the day. This game is quite interesting because it takes us to a world where adventure and action provide great entertainment to players, which is the goal of each of the games, however this is not always the case. This game is totally free, that is, what we know as free-to-play, but that does not mean that you can not buy things with real money to advance faster in the game. For this analysis I will take into account the aspects that from my point of view are the most basic to determine the quality of a game, such as gameplay, game modes, graphics and sound.

Beginning to develop the most important aspects of the game, I will talk initially about the ***gameplay***, where the player must select his character to go through the different scenarios that we have in the game, which I can tell you that it is a great extension so there will be a lot of action and adventure. As the player progresses through the game and doing the different missions, he will gain experience and equipment that gives more entertainment in the game because the missions tend to have a higher difficulty, and therefore greater rewards are obtained.  Each of the characters have their characteristics and skills. Among the skills we have two, active and passive. The first one is not innate to the character, but we find them in the form of gems as we go through the territory.  These gems are placed on weapons and armor, in slots, and thus gives the skills to the characters. The passive skills are numerous and what they do is to increase the ability to heal or damage the characters.

Among the characters in the game we have 7 classes, which each of them has the characteristics strength, dexterity and intelligence. The best thing about this is that the game can customize your hero, which is always a positive thing for the game and motivates players to continue in the game, because not only interested in the game modes themselves, but the character itself play a relevant role. Among the characters we have The Marauder, The Ranger, The Witch, Templar, The Duelist, The Shadow, among others. Each of them has skills and characteristics such as Intelligence, Dexterity, Strength, Health, Mana, Damage per second, Hit chance, Attacks per second, Evasion and Evade chance. As we advance in the game, our characters will also increase in level, which will allow us to reach a higher league and therefore better rewards. The leagues we have in the game are Softcore/Normal, Hardcore/Extreme and Season. It is important to mention that in this game we do not buy resources with coins that we earn when we pass the missions, but we have things called orbs, which is really good because it does not affect the economy of the game and make the game more interesting.

Now going to the technical part and starting with the ***graphics***, I can tell you that Path of Exile is good, where the lights and shadows stand out, being these two the most outstanding of the graphic section. The modeling of the characters is correct, as well as the textures of the objects, which although they are not the best as other games, if they fully comply with the task of the developer of the game. The atmosphere and scenarios are very outstanding and exceptional, and this is due to the lights and shadows, without leaving aside the colorfulness of the game. The visual effects during the battles are really good, with great effects that are given both by the blows, skills and causing damage to the opponent. Now, if the effects are good, one of the things that disappointed me a lot is the animations that are poorly worked as the previous aspects. The fluidity of the game is quite good, both in the menus, as in the game itself and in the story mode and more when the computer meets the minimum requirements for the game to work well. This game is quite decent in the graphic section, at least from my point of view.

The ***sound*** if it is true that leaves a little to be desired at least in what is the part of the soundtrack, which greatly overshadows the game, as the musical themes are reduced which makes players get bored, besides that they are few graceful. The sound effects are the most relevant of the sound section of this game, both environmental and those that occur during battles. What are the voices of the characters in the dialogues are little worked. In short, this is the most disappointing part of the game and I think this overshadows much of the positive things that the game had, but it can be improved for future installments. 

In **conclusion**, ***Path of Exile*** is a role-playing game is a great action and adventure game of the role-playing type, and the best thing about it is that it is free-to-play. As for the gameplay, the most relevant thing is the customization of the characters and the great freedom that this gives us to create the character of our preference, with their skills and characteristics. As for the game modes, the most relevant is the story that even though many players do not understand it, we still advance in the game because it guides us easily. The game modes I think are somewhat limited, but what they are are quite entertaining, technically the game some are lime and some sand. In the graphical part the game is pretty decent, with good things and others that are not, such as animations among the most negative part. The sound is quite disappointing, being the best the sound effects. Anyway, this is a role-playing game combined with action that has nothing to envy to the big productions in general, but it should improve some things for a better experience for the players. For all of the above I give the gameplay an 8.5, the graphics an 8 and the sound a 6.
