Ya en los helicopteros, podemos notar como se comporta el grupo de Dutch, los cuales iremos conociendo poco a poco, aunque nos iremos quedando más con sus caras que sus nombres como tal, a medida que descienden y avanzan se deja claro que en todo el terreno predomina el ambiente selvático y que no contarán con apoyo de ningún tipo, a medida que avanzan, se descubren los cadáveres desollados de varios militares de origen Estadounidense y para más preocupación, resulta ser un escuadrón de boinas verdes que por alguna razón fueron desplegados en la zona, el descubrimiento inquieta a todos pero le hace dudar a Dutch, sobre la razón de que tan experimentados militares se encuentren en esa zona del mundo, más cuando resulta que el conocía a uno de ellos, mientras siguen continúan siguiendo los pasos de los hostiles la película nos indica que están siendo observados, por alguna cosa que posee visión calorífica.

El depredador lo ha seguido hasta la orilla, y ahora con un Dutch desarmado, el veterano ahora esta a merced de la criatura, sin embargo, pese a que antes no tenia problemas en detectar a sus compañeros, estuvieran donde estuvieran, esta vez el alíen no  es capaz de ubicar a Dutch, quien se mantiene alerta y en silencio esperando que el peligro pase, y efectivamente el Alíen no consigue dar con el y se retira, Dutch comprende que no lo descubrieron porque esta empapado en barro, y con esta nueva oportunidad, aprovecha para estudiar más el terreno en el que se encuentra y fabricar un plan para enfrentarse al Alíen.

Llega la noche, y ambos enemigos se preparan para el duelo, siendo esta vez Dutch el que inicia el combate tendiéndole una trampa a la criatura con explosivos, pero lejos de estar derrotada, el Alien comienza a disparar a los arboles cercanos, entendiendo que Dutch se escondía en algún lugar de ellos, Dutch cae de su posición pero gracias a su camuflaje de barro, es capaz de pasar desapercibido por la visión del Alienigena, que debido a la emboscada previa, ya no cuenta con el dispositivo de invisibilidad de antes, desatándose así todo un combate por el bosque, que culmina en un momento clave, donde Dutch es acorralado por el depredador.

Es aquí cuando se nos revela el verdadero aspecto de este ser, que bueno... es difícil de describir a decir verdad, sin embargo, su apariencia intimida a Dutch y el depredador comienza a humillar al propio Dutch en combate mano a mano, dejando muy mal herido al experimentado militar, tanto así, que este se ve obligado a tener que ir arrastrandosé hasta el lugar donde habia colocado sus trampas, Dutch incita al ser a que termine el trabajo y lo liquide, pero el Alienigena no se fía de la actitud del militar prefiriendo tomar un camino alterno para terminar de matarlo, la acción desespera a Dutch, pero gracias a que tenia una ultima trampa bajo la manga, logra por fin, herir e inmovilizar al depredador, que a pesar del importante daño, aun respira.

Dutch se acerca rematarlo temiendo por su vida, pero viendo el estado de depredador, deja que este siga sufriendo y se da unos momentos de interacción con el extraño ser, pero antes de Dutch pueda hacer nada, el Depredador activa un dispositivo que luego Dutch asimila que es una especie de bomba o cuenta regresiva, huyendo cuanto antes del lugar y el depredador, moribundo, aceptando su destino, poco despues visualizamos que la magnitud de la bomba es ridículamente elevada, al punto en que casi parece una explosión atomica, pero Dutch, milagrosamente, sobrevive y es rescatado por el helicóptero de su ejercito, al final, podemos ver como Dutch se queda mirando la selva, tal vez preguntandosé si hay más criaturas como esas ahi fuera, terminado la película.

Predator o depredador, fue una de las grandes obras del cine de ciencia ficción que también le dejaron millones a quienes la produjeron, además también tuvo el merito de crear un excelente villano que con el tiempo sería siendo recordado como una de las especies más despiadadas que se han concebido alguna vez, Depredador me parece un buen película, muy disfrutable cuando la vez por primera o por tercera vez, y que guarda detalles interesantes, sabe mantener la tensión y la atención del publico con todos los eventos que pasan la película, tiene algunos clichés como casi todas las obras de la gran pantalla, pero de mi parte se le perdonan por su original concepto de colocar un alienigena cazador de presas humanas en un ambiente selvático, si quedan dudas, la recomiendo mis panas :) yo le daría una oportunidad por si no la han visto. ¡Gracias por leer!
