And following the theme of games forgotten over the years, this time I bring another title that is clearly inspired by the classic games of The Legend of Zelda, but even so, this is a game that retains its own personality and essence, but which, by bad luck is one of those titles that enters the list of forgotten video games.

**Today I bring a forgotten title from the video game industry, but it's still a highly recommended game: The Adventures of Alundra.**

Our main protagonist is Alundra, he is an elf who one day was sailing when suddenly in a dream, he is summoned by a person who tells him that he should go to a village called Inoa because the inhabitants of that village need his help. And without further ado, our hero goes to that place, but for the bad luck of Alundra, the ship where he was sailing is hit by a storm making our protagonist shipwreck, however, also for Alundra's fortune or better said, for the fate he already had marked, our protagonist appears on the shore Inoa where he is rescued by a resident of the village. After being rescued by the resident of Inoa, he informs Alondra that the villagers are suffering due to nightmares that haunt them every time they go to sleep, so the villagers have no rest at all because just going to sleep causes them a terrible anguish and fear.

Quickly, another villager reveals to us that Alundra is the hero and the one chosen to end the suffering of the inhabitants of Inoa and this is because our protagonist is able to delve into people's dreams and therefore into their nightmares, therefore bearing this in mind, Alundra as a good hero who decides to help all those inhabitants who need his help and power, and thus also discover the origin of such nightmares. Equipped with his sword Alundra decides to save the village.

Like few games, The Adventures of Alundra has been able to overcome the challenge of time as far as the graphic aspect is concerned, in this title we can find 16-bit graphics, being one of my favorite types for a videogame, in addition to having a lot of characteristic details of those games where the plot revolves around fantasy. However not only can be found 16-bit graphics in this game, since it also makes use of some 3D effects and although you might think that currently a mixture between those two types of graphics in a game so old where that technology was not fully perfected could not look good, the truth is that despite all the years that have passed since the release of this game to the market, it does not look bad at all and still maintains that essence I wanted to convey with all its environments.

If we compare The Adventures of Alundra with other games, clearly is not the best in the graphic aspect, there are many other games that in this aspect is well above this one, but even so, The Adventures of Alundra is a game that knows how to take good care of its details, both in its characters, where each one of them has an excellent drawing and have good animations, from enemies to common characters and as well as in the scenarios we can travel, these have a fairly good level of detail, so that when we meet in a village, has been recreated in such a way that it does not feel artificial, in a sense.

The sound section of The Adventures of Alundra is suitable for the type of game it represents, that is, a fantasy game, it has a great list of melodies that accompany us throughout our adventure, but I must admit that these melodies, although they are good, did not stand out as they should, taking for example the melodies we can hear in The Legend of Zelda, However, in The Adventures of Alundra, I don't remember any memorable melody or anything that brings back any exact memories, but that doesn't detract from this game, because as I said before, despite the similarities it may have with The Legend of Zelda, this is still a game with a personality of its own.

The Adventures of Alundra is a game that in terms of gameplay is very similar to The Legend of Zelda, being a game of the Action-RPG genre, therefore the battles are in real time, so we will have to be quite astute and skillful when controlling our character when we go to fight our enemies. Being of the Action-RPG genre we will have a lot of weapons at our disposal that will help us throughout our adventure in this game, and we will also have the use of different types of magic that we will learn at each stage of the game.

Like The Legend of Zelda, in The Adventures of Alundra we will find many puzzles to solve, having a great difficulty high as we advance more in the history of the game, in such a way that not only we can test our coordination when controlling our protagonist in the battles against our enemies, also test our mind and in some cases our memory, because the amount of puzzles is very varied.

The Adventures of Alundra is a game with a long duration, that will keep us entertained all the hours in which we are living this adventure. The reference that this game has with The Legend of Zelda is very clear, but despite having certain similarities, The Adventures of Alundra is still a game quite unique and highly recommended for those who like the Action-RPG genre. An excellent game with great personality.
