Leviticus 26

"1.YOU SHALL make for yourselves no idols nor shall you erect a graven image, pillar, or obelisk, nor shall you place any figured stone in your land to which or on which to bow down; for I am the Lord your God.
2.You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary. I am the Lord.

3.If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and do them."

 We know that an idol stand for something that don't exist but people who worship idols do believe that the idol provides their needs and also protect them as well. Some even say that God in heaven Don't exist because we can't see him and he don't eat food, what a foolish thought!  All because they believe that their god eat food. Consider the people of Israel those who ate what was offered to idols God in heaven was angry and they were punished for their sin. Let me put   this to your notice that foods offer for sacrifice are demonic so is better for you to absence from it or you face the consequences. 
  You can't pretend to be a Christian and same time worshipping and offering foods to idol believe me you will end up in pain, disgrace and shame. Food however,  will not improve our relationship with God rather food only improve our physical being because God in heaven walks in the spirit so we must follow his way. There is only one God in heaven, so we must only bowl down to him and worship him only.

 EXODUS 20
"3.You shall have no other gods before or besides Me.

4.You shall not make yourself any graven image [to worship it] or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

5.You shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me."

  The bible says the devil came to steal,  to kill and to destroy. My dear brethren be very careful and prayerful ,serving idols is the work and plan of the devil to draw people away from Christ and leading them all into destruction. Our God is a merciful God and he is waiting for you to return back to him and follow the truth and the true way which us light . No god will give you peace and happiness rather your peace and happiness are taken away, So beware of idol.
