Recently I’ve done a personal spiritual journey on this road of how diligent, swift and caring Steemit community is. Regardless of what you see on the surface of new, hot page, or in the comments of a trending page, something very interesting is going on here. So, for newbies, here’s how to fail on Steemit instantly, but don't do this at home.

No, you won’t be banned, maybe blacklisted and left without payouts and flagged without option of pardon but that’s “all”, the more important part is failing at being a good, at least a decent person on Steemit, or being a person at all. 

**<h2>1.	Troll on the platform or on Discord chat. – SUPER, INSTA, FAIL.</h2>**

This is the option for those who are interested in really insta-failing on the network. Join Discord chat of Steemians, present yourself in a way you want, whether it’s false or true, but try a couple of those cliché trolling phrases you used on other social media and you will get insta-fail inside the community and no one will be able to help you. The community swiftness on recognizing trolling is astonishing. No need to describe what happens to trolls. You don’t get to choose.

**<h2>2.	Blame the “whales” for low payouts.</h2>**

Whales is a crypto term for people who own a significant portion of Steem cryptocurrency and Steem Power or any other cryptocurrency, thus being able to boost you financially and launch your reputation in the sky. But, did you think these people who own so much made those amounts by pure luck? They were a part of “smart money” flowing phase into the project. So, if a whale doesn’t upvote you, or someone you know, or he doesn’t upvote anyone, he or she has reasons for it and it’s none of your bussines. 

**<h2>3.	Blame the selfupvotes for low payouts.</h2>**

HF19 made everyone’s vote 4x stronger. Some people “abuse” this by upvoting their own stuff. You may feel a bit frustrated if you are a new member and see what’s going on, but those are just a few people and it’s their choice to spend their SP in that way. The fact us, everyone knows who those people are, and they are probably isolated from the community.

**<h2>4.	Speak about other people’s earnings, neglecting their effort and time spent working on the network.</h2>**

OMG, Look at that guy, earning 400$/post for a few written words and a video! Or, this guy earning so much for no effort, look at my novel with 0.005$ payout!  
If you are a newbie, you probably don’t know who the witnesses are, who are the devs of some amazing Steem-based projects, who is promoting Steemit constantly, who is reinvesting into this currency and spending sleepless days and nights around, making sure everything flows fine. You maybe don’t know who are the people who struggled for years to get into some significant position into crypto world.  Presumption of “scam” and voting up some popular people is plain and simple ignorant.

**<h2>5.	Be that pretentious “smart guy” from Reddit / Facebook.</h2>**

Seriously, try that stuff. It’s even more insta-fail than trolling. Consider yourself more worthy than everyone else through your enriched and university lecturer of nuclear science sentences and posts. Post something no one but you understands because it’s so full of divine knowledge that only you can decrypt. Be the one who has a solution to everything in the crypto and the world. All important matters covered with your lengthy pretentious comments of immortal brain and englightenment.. 

**<h2>6.	Be aggressive, pessimistic, depressing, lying, dishonest, irrational, frustrated, emotional, lack of empathy, degrading, insulting towards other people.</h2>**

Well, if you didn’t fail already in real-life by being this type of a person, then you can do another shot here. You will have a delivery in a special way in a matter of minutes.

**<h2>7.	Be a catfish</h2>**

Download some hot chick from Instagram photos, create Steemit account, post them here and wait couple of minutes for Steemit community to uncover you. If you want to go more complex way of going to Discord chat and trying to scam the people there – one word, VOICE CHAT.

**8.	Comments spam**

“Nice post”, “Upvote for upvote”, “Follow me, I follow you” – These types of insta-failing are a bit tolerated, unless you go hardcore c/p on every single post. That will surely give you insta-fail award.

**<h2>9.	Cheetah, plagiarism, Youtube links, copyrighted material content posting</h2>**

Yeah, this is the most common but not the worst way of insta-failing. Posting other people’s work and earning from it is just a road to becoming avoided more and more you post that stuff. 

**<h2>10.	 Politics, war, nationalism, socialism, religion and other crypto non-related stuff.</h2>**

Now, this is a special fail of insta-failing and is only for experienced insta-failers. Politics is a debate everyone is tending to avoid, besides the news section and some writers who have professional knowledge on the subject. War is another topic that people don’t want to talk about. Ideologies like nationalism, socialism, racism et cetera, is a subject that will get you insta-fail everywhere except the bars where these groups hang out. Religion is a topic that people like to debate about sometimes, but know that someone might be hypersensitive to this matter, thus avoiding it unless it is really necessary to talk about them, question them and so on. Other non-crypto stuff includes people’s privacy, complaining about life being too difficult, hating on particular matters and other Reddit posts.

**What Steemit is about is optimism, not exaggerated and false optimism, but optimism based on realistic foundations and knowledge. This is on what your posts should be based too. For example, I’m being able to write this post because I’m "educated" enough about this topic. I’ve experienced it, unintentionally or intentionally, I did. This is what my post makes honest and why should you consider how are you engaging into the community.**
