So, today I am going to start my vlog just like you would any good story... "So no crap there I was"

So no crap there I was laying on the bathroom floor wrapped up in the shower curtain like a little baby. Stacie D came busting into the bathroom and said all she could see were my toes sticking up out of the curtain. That is after I performed a delicate and seemingly well choreographed performance art piece titled "Oh Crap , Here I Go"

I have had a pretty good run of how many showers I have taken in my life without ever slipping and falling, but that run came to a sudden stop..just like my butt did when it hit the floor.

I was taking a shower Friday afternoon/evening getting ready to relax into the day of rest on Saturday. I was just doing what I normally do, and was finishing up with washing my toes...I mean we all wash our toes right?!

When I stood up from polishing my piggies, my feet decided that they no longer wanted to be underneath me. Perhaps this was a power play being made by my extremities. No matter the reason, they weren't having it, and they shot out from under me and were headed straight for the shower head.

Everything seemed to happen in real time as I scrambled to not die. I instinctively squatted down like I was slipping on ice. This made my feet go left, and my butt go right, while the rest of my body was trying to make a get away out the bathroom door.

When an adult sized person like myself, 6'5 and 270 lbs, falls it always comes with some sort of damage. Mostly to the person, but sometimes to the things around us. In this case I praise God that I didn't end up in the basement of this old farm house. 

There was a casualty though...the toilet. I hit that toilet like it was attacking my family! I knocked it clean off of the floor and broke both bolts that held it down. So now to recap. I was laying on the floor, swaddled in a shower curtain, next to a broken toilet...and the water was still running.

Lucky for me Stacie D (@freedomtowrite) has been taking good care of me. She stepped right in like a super attentive nurse. I only have a couple of bumps and no visible bruising which is aways a plus, and we now have a toilet that is refastened to the floor tighter than it has ever been!

We added traction strips to the tub and should be all set for many more showers. Safety is no joke. haha
