Yesterday I got hit with The Hustle right in the face.If any of you really know me, you know that I love the hustle. I love making deals. I love making something happen. There is a certain magic that comes from putting a deal together, and making people happy with the purchase.


I am currently working on our suburban. This past month it started throwing all sorts of codes and misfiring all over the place. I have done so much research! I picked that thing over from top to bottom,and I have been slowly fixing and changing things.


I love that I am able to figure out and do the work myself. I watch alot of videos, and read alot of forums, and even talk to alot of people at the auto parts store. I take all of that information, and then make something happen.


When we leave the farm in May, I don't think we are going to take the suburban. Not that it is crap, but it doesn't seem like the best tool for the job. So we have been looking into the small shuttles called cutaways. They are a small bus that is on a van chassis.


We figure that we can have just the things we need, just like when we were on the road in the suburban with a utility trailer. We really just need a place to lay down flat, some water, some food, some basic tools, a way to cook food, and our bags. When we put all of that stuff together, it really isn't that much, and we try not to overload ourselves.


So yesterday I called this guy down near Detroit who had two of these shuttles on his car lot. This guy was slick. He was wheeling and dealing so hard trying to get me to buy both of them. He was even trying to get me to use a credit card to pay the difference haha.


I don't believe we are going to go in that direction. I did some research and I don't think those are particularly the best ones for us. I do however, really appreciate that guys hustle. He came at me hard and fast.....and I loved it.


It was nice knowing that I didn't have to do or say anything. I knew exactly what I though and I wasn't going to be swayed, but I really loved how hard this guy was trying to dance with me. I love the hustle!
