May you ride eternal, shiny and chrome.....that is all I heard from Stacie D as I headed out to the store yesterday. We knew that it was just like the movie Mad Max haha.


Over this past week we have had to go to town for a couple of things, and we noticed that everyone was starting to act a bit off. We started to notice the toilet paper was gone, and now the food was gone, and stores were even limiting the amounts of food you could buy.


As the ominous dark cloud that is Covid 19 or Coronavirus casts it's long shadow of the US, people are going off of the rails. That is why I am calling today's video Mad Max: Toilet Paper Road.


I understand that there are people that this will greatly impact in a negative way, and some may even die. I don't make light of that, and I can only speak from my perspective. 


It was wild to see all of the panic buying, and forced "prepping". I have been following this virus news as much as I can, and I think there may be more to this than we are seeing. 


If I were a betting man, I think this will blow in like a hurricane and will cause all kinds of damage, and then blow right back out again. I don't think this is something that is going to stick around. I don't think this will reshape history, but it will become another disease on the list that came and went.


I think we are learning alot about people in these days. What they are actually willing to do to survive. It is everything that you could imagine it would be. It looks just like a book or a movie. This is just toilet paper....can you imagine if it were a shortage of food.....


From where we stand, there isn't much else we can do. We live out on a farm, and only run to town for what we need. We are doing things for our immune system that we would normally be doing during flu season. 


The other side of this is awesome though. We are hitting the road in 6 weeks! Gas prices are through the floor, and everywhere is empty!
