Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊  The leaves are changing colour on some trees and falling off of others, that means the dreaded white stuff is just around the corner. 😊  I almost missed the grasshopper on this planter, it was so still. 😊  It sure loves our little spicy peppers outside the basement door. 😊  I did a bit of reorganizing in our kitchen this week. This drawer was first. 😊  It became this, but I’m not sure it’s going to stay this way, yet. 😊  A couple of our feathered friends watching me walk down to check our tomatoes. 😊  The Crane leaving our pond. 😊  I snapped this shot when the Crane returned later in the week. 😊  Another foggy morning. This was as the fog was rolling back a little after 8 am, the other day. 😊  Our mini peppers are turning colour. 😊  The Jalapenos are turning red! 😊  There should be enough varieties of spicy and sweet peppers to make a real nice batch of Cowboy Candy, once we get them all harvested, these are spicy. 😊  This tomato looks like it’s a smile, at least to me. 😊  This was our sweet pepper blessing from this week, plus a few of our tomatoes. 😊  This is the first pumpkin harvested this year. Our neighbour is going to put it in his smoker, so we can try smoked pumpkin in our pies this fall. 😊  That same pumpkin hanging out with a few of our Butternut squash. 😊  My first attempt at making a pie from scratch. It didn’t turn out quite right, but my handsome husband enjoyed it…though he suggested adding a teaspoon or two to the next one. 😊  Part of one of yesterdays aerial displays from our pigeons. 😊  The always lovely Itty Bitty, stopped by yesterday and had a chat with our dogs while we supervised. 😊  Baked Butternut squash seeds, yum. 😊  This was my second attempt at pie, still not great, but getting better. 😊  Last night’s spectacular sunset colours. 😊  God has the best set of colouring pencils/crayons ever! 😊  Woke to another foggy morning today. 😊  Some of our pigeons watching us watch them. 😊  Critters are after our Sunflowers, so I snapped a few pictures before I began to harvest most of them, earlier today. 😊  Not all were ready for harvesting, but I harvested any big ones with seeds and multiple heads, like this one, to give the smaller flowers a chance to bloom. 😊  It looks like we’re going to have a nice variety and supply of Sunflower seeds to plant next year. 😊  Most of our 2023 Sunflower harvest, there’ll be a few more added, but this is the bulk of them. 😊  Today’s bucket of apples was turned into applesauce. 😊  Well, that was how things have been going for us here.
