Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊  We started our week by planting Sweet Corn in our newly widened and lengthened main pasture garden. 😊  We had some eggs to use up this week, so I made us some omelets and egg muffins that took care of a couple dozen and froze some of this for later enjoyment. 😊  The pretty Pansy looking down at her flock mates. 😊  Rebel spending a few minutes hanging out on my handsome husband. 😊  The hatchlings doing their morning stretches before breakfast. 😊  The different types of feathers and varying degrees of fluffiness on their little feet is adorable. I love the puffiness of Ducky and Pansy, but the flippy wings on Nyjer and a few others is neat too. We really love the pheasant-like colouring of Floyd, and our neighbour’s daughter thinks Ducky should have been named Penguin because he’s got penguin colours on his face. LOL! 😊  My scoring skills are not quite what I’d like them to be, but I still try my best to make a nice score pattern, this one didn’t do exactly what I thought it would, but it turned out okay, in my opinion and it tasted great. 😊  These buns were super soft and great for roast beef sandwiches. 😊  Our beautiful sunset colours behind my favourite tree. 😊  Just hanging out on my handsome husband’s foot while we chat. 😊  This brave little gal jumped up from his foot up onto my knee and proceeded to pick through the scoop of food I was holding in my lap. 😊  I don’t know about you, but we think their little faces are adorable, especially this close up. 😊  This little bunny has moved onto our homestead, into our barn or under our hay bales, we aren’t sure, as it’s been seen in both spots, but both our flock and our dogs always let us know when its here. 😊  Our peppers survived their first foray out into the outdoors this week. Can you spot the spicy Ghost Pepper in the bunch 😊  This is as “above” a shot as I could get from my height, of those same peppers, to help you identify them. 😊  These are the buns I made to get us through the weekend, they’ll go nicely with the roast beef in the slow cooker/crockpot. They weren’t shaped as nicely as the previous ones, but the sesame seed spread/ratio was nicer on these ones, to me. 😊  Some freshly baked cinnamon buns to enjoy for dessert. 😊  Pansy and I walking through the garden. 😊  Dot, Ducky, and Floyd enjoying the herb garden. 😊  Squirrel sunbathing. 😊  Is it just me or do these incoming storm clouds look like they’re painted to anyone else? 😊  The first blooms have opened up in the little dog run fence garden bed. 😊  This Tulip should be the next bloom to open in that dog run garden bed. 😊  The Bleeding Heart is doing well and looking lovely this year. 😊  The apple trees are budding up. 😊  We had some crazy wind and rain yesterday, but during lulls in the storm we always had someone stop to say hello and grab a snack, like this soggy gal. 😊  I just noticed, while going through all my pictures from this week, that she’s got a heart-shaped black mark on her nose, that’s something different and will probably provide us with an idea for her name. 😊  Well, that was how things have been going for us here.
