Good morning, Hive-ians! 😊  Our Sunflowers opened up this week! 😊  The Crane stopped by our pond a few times this week and I managed to catch a few blurry pictures, like this one. 😊  The lovely Misty is one of our newer pigeons, has gotten brave enough to come up on the deck with us. 😊  Not too bad, considering I’m standing on the side deck at the far end of the house from the pond that the Crane’s hanging out in. 😊  Enjoying some quality Pigeon time. 😊  Our pollinators are as pleased with our Sunflowers as we are. 😊  I received a delivery this week, my new book from Mary from Mary’s Nest YouTube channel. 😊  The Crane flying away, looks like a Pterodactyl to me. 😊  Sweetie will now come over to us, even when we don’t have feed in our hands, which we think is really cool. 😊  The Sunflowers and the Primrose flowers together are a beautiful sight to see, so many shades of yellow to enjoy. 😊  I made my very first batch of chicken/vegetable broth this week. 😊  Who knew my handsome husband making his first chutney and my making bone broth, fresh buns and cinnamon buns from scratch would use up so many dishes, not me, but I should have. I got them all washed, dried, and put away for the Sabbath, thankfully. 😊  I think this is my favourite sunset shot of the week. 😊  Our beautiful grand-puppy Mya watching the male pigeon we call Waggle grabbing a snack from my handsome husband’s hand yesterday morning. She was so focused on the one in his hand that she didn’t notice the ones on the ramp beside him. 😊  I can’t wait to see the Gigantic Sunflowers…we have some a few different heights of Sunflowers to enjoy. There are ones that just barely reach my knees; (I’m 4’9-ish,) and then there are some that are taller than my handsome husband and he’s 6’2. 😊  The jars after being washed. 😊  A close up of our first jar of chicken/vegetable broth. 😊  Pigeons coming for their mid-morning break. 😊  I shared a couple jars of broth with our neighbour, used one to marinate our chicken legs and froze the rest for future use. 😊  We’ve woken up to some serious fog each day this week, thankfully, once the son warmed things up, it burned away. This is a picture of some of it burning off. 😊  Well, that was how things have been going for us here. I hope you have all been safe and healthy and have had an amazing week!
