WHAT'S IN MY CART?? A game for all of us.
[Market Basket](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_Basket_(New_England)) is a legendary super market chain servicing Massachusetts and New Hampshire in the United States of America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ , and I was there the other day buying some things.

Maybe we can play a game.

Whoever names the most items in the cart wins!
-------

It's best to be as specific as possible. For example, *"5 red onions"* is better than *"5 onions"*. Or the brand. *"Hunt's ketchup"* is better than *"ketchup"*. But partial credit will be given, so it's still good to say ketchup and get the brand wrong.

Incorrect guesses carry no penalty for up to *three incorrect guesses*. After that, you start to lose a point for an incorrect guess.

(This is just to prevent against spray and praying every grocery item that exists. If you say "Hunt's ketchup", and it's actually a different brand, that's fine. Incorrect guess is only when that item totally wasn't in there.)

-------

One of the staff members was aggressively quick to ask me if I needed help finding anything, and then he needled me for my footwear.

*"bold footwear choice"*, he told me.

I think he just wanted to comment on that and wasn't concerned whether I needed help.

I gave him a little speech about how it surprisingly works, how I tested it before I left and I didn't even realize you'd be able to wear socks with flip-flops and still walk comfortably, and actually you can.

I don't know, I think it's a strong choice.

Fashion has a lot of levels to it, and deliberately going faux-pas can work.

Tough love from the store attendant tho. Sometimes at *Market Basket* there's a feeling of camaraderie in the air.

That guy on the phone there was doing the thing where he was sort of in between lanes in his mind, like his cart was tilted and he was ready to move if the other lane started to seem faster. But then I took that lane and he straightened out.

He wasn't doing anything wrong, and neither was I. Just two shoppers shopping properly.

**_anyways, back to the contest_**
---------

Winner will receive **_five 100% upvotes from me_**, paid out gradually over a couple weeks or so. Plus I'll make a post announcing you as the winner, so you get the glory.

(If you're someone who I upvote a lot anyways I'll probably dig thru your comments and upvote random comments, so that you actually win something on top of the votes you'd get anyways.)

All you have to do is name the items. And also, take a guess at the total cost of the items. In case there's a tie, total cost will be the tiebreaker.

I'll also give *one 100% upvote* to whoever gets closest to the cost.

Best wishes, and good luck. πŸ€πŸ‘
