Well, well, well. It was another great 2 weeks on the Steem blockchain, but I also have some worries.
My worry is that I am too focused on reaching the dolphinhood before we write 2020 that I am neglecting some vital steem related things.
Maybe focused is the correct wording, obsessed maybe is a better description. And as we all know an obsession is never good.

# The progress
First let's have a look at the progress I made. In the past report my account had 2211 own SP. And I managed to add another 259 SP to it. Great progress in my opinion. That is an increase over 10%.
At the moment of writing I am a little bit short for reaching the mighty dolphinhood status halfway! I do own now 2470SP.

The main income still is blogging. On average I do earn around 6.173 steem per day. Which still isn't enough to make my dream come true!
There are 267 days left in the year so if I can keep this average up I would earn an extra 1650 steem. Great but as told not enough.

So I do need some extra income. 

# Extra income
Here is where the curation, delegations and the games come into play.

## Curation
Last month it was the best month ever in my steem career. I did earn 17,796 steem with curating posts. I do count on 0.35 steem curation rewards per day, which should add an extra 90 to 95 steem in the pocket!

So don't estimate the steem income of curation, because it does add up. And the bigger the account grows, the more it accumulates. So probably the 90 to 95 steem is a low estimate.
I am sure that I could increase this by investigating which accounts do use bid bots and so on, but I prefer not to do this.

## Delegations
For the moment I only have 1 delegation which directly returns some income and that is a delegation to @ocdb. This earns me around 0.1 steem per day. I do agree that this is not a lot, but every little bit of steem does help me!
And I am planning to increase the delegation to @ocbd. Would to have it on 500 SP, but it will grow with small steps. Because every steem that I delegated cannot be used to reward other Steemians with my mighty and growing upvote power. Increasing it too much, will of course also have an effect on the curation income. 

## Games
Yes, I am a sucker for games on the steem blockchain. Some really do interest me from an investment point of view, other are slipping!

I do know how much my loss is for every game but I have no clue how much it helps to reach my goal. In some cases it is losing some steem at the moment, hoping that the investment will pay off later.
So, I will make another tab in my excel file, to check this.
I do earn around 1 steem div per week from magicdice, but my hopes are more on steem-bet and for sure Kryptogamers, who were nice enough to reward me with a bonus of 250K GAMER tokens. 

So here is the baseline, so that we can check this in 2 weeks from now.
I will be using the bookkeeping functionality from @holger80 for most of them.

# Calculations
Like you can expect from me, I did made some calculations. In the worst case scenario I do need to earn/mine/win 3.307 steem extra per day to reach the destination, in the best case scenario this drops to 2.257 steem per day!

Of course also some scorum could be swapped to steem, but I also want to swap scorum into other crypto coins! Tough decisions have to be made!

# Next report
I did set a chechkpoint on the report of the 23th of April. According to the plan I should have 2376 steem at that moment in time, if that wasn't the case I would be forced to buy some steem on the market! Luckily this won't be necesarry becuase I am ahead of plan. 
The next checkpoint has been set on the 21th of May, at that date 2636 Steem is needed, I also expect that I won't be forced to buy some steem there!

But I do need to decrease my obsession a little bit and focus more on the important things on steem and for me personally this is to interact with each other steemians. Trying to help other Steemians, just trying to be the best Steemian possible!
