This is not a story of a whale with high steem power and I am not even a small whale for a start.

I have been a member in this great platform for **34 days** only. It took me almost **27 days to reach 300 followers** and I had a sudden outburst of **100 followers within the last 7 days**. This is really great for a newbie who is not a whale. I reached my next milestone of **more than 400 followers** within such a short time. 

By looking at the growth of my followers, I think it is possible to reach **a thousand followers within the next 30 days** for me. All my followers really get my **honest feedback** as well as useful tips through my posts. They also get to participate in my **free giveway**. I will also upvote **most of the comments** in my post nowadays.

**Why do people follow my post?**

I give very **simple tips** that has already helped many of my followers to **grow within a short period**. Some who understood my post and decided to **invest in steem power** to get serious has earned back almost **triple of their investment**. 

I have never told people to invest but I mainly share my ideas and experience. I wrote quite a few post about different ways that we can earn in steemit. I literally post at least **two posts daily** and I make many **quality comments** that got upvoted very well in many cases but not all.

Be honest, be serious and put in the effort to develop good content. Learn from others and don't flag others unnecessarily. Make friends and not enemy. 

I have also organised many contests that give **free SBD** to the members of this platform. I think this has helped too for being generous with what I earned in steemit.

As a minnow of 34 days, it is really the support of the members who decided to follow me. I have not begged or pestered anyone to follow me. I did not go to any whale to upvote my post too. 

In fact, I posted an article about not to disturb the whales and upvote is really their freewill. It takes time to develop even a business so new members out there, remember to be patient and keep posting until one day you get notice for great post and build a great reputation. I got upvote by whales before but not just a small percentage. It is the thought that counts so don't be greedy for more. Be appreciative!
