Getting a great title is really one of the best ways to get a reader's interest especially what interests most of us! The bottomline is money!

'Those whales are selfish and will never upvote our posts!' Is this your inward voice and anger?

My past post did receive upvotes from whales before even though it was not their full voting power. It is good enough as it is the thought that counts. Not every whale is the same and we should not just label them all the same.

If you are really interested in getting a whale to upvote your post, what fabulous content have you written that compels them to do so. Ponder over this and write one that is good. Soon a good upvote will come when you really hit right on the nail.

If it is just some ordinary posts and random things of your life, most of us will not upvote so don't ever think there is the slightest chance for an upvote from a whale. Don't go into the begging mode as well which I see many members doing it. They even sent $0.001 SBD and asking whales to take a look at their posts.

fun2learn, you did not read that post by this whale who only cares about his profit and will never upvote anyone unless he/she benefits. I am aware but I really don't want to read. Steemit is a place for us to earn through posting and it can be done for free. What the whales really want to do is really their own business since the steem power is really their own property. I can't be asking you to give a part of your house to me since you stay in a big house unless you offer a room for me as a guest.

Don't focus so much on the whales to upvote your post! Focus on making many valuable friends, supporters and followers will be more realistic. You can aim for 10 000 followers and each gives you a $0.01 SBD, you will get a cool $100 SBD for your post. With the going up of steem price, each click now is worth a lot more.

If you like to get lots of upvotes, get a good title and write a good content that compels everyone who reads it to click.

Did you read until my last sentence? I guess you get my idea and you will progress and start writing better posts rather than daydreaming about one day a whale will click. Nevertheless, they do regardless of the amount, just be grateful that they did and still doing. Not all but many of them.

There are also many great members who are selfless and thinking ways to help new members to grow.
