I guess it is time for an update on my steemit adventure. To recap I put some money in steemit when I started back in August and started to write articles. Slowly but surely I started to make some money. Then in October I decided to go full crypto and put all my life savings into Bitcoin and altcoins. It was a rollercoaster! Learning about trading, making the obvious mistakes ( luckily not a lot) and making money! I was so occupied with trading that I did not paid much attention to Steemit. Sure I still wrote but it was of a lower priority than my trading activity. A week ago I was looking at the steemit market and I nearly got a heart attack, There was steem selling for only 0.15 cent! What has happened? I rushed to my wallet and first I thought I was seeing it wrong , than I thought it must be a mistake. But it wasn’t , my account had doubled in value. How did that happened? Well I did not realise that SBD is a crypto that can rise in prise as well. I always thought that the SBD was an interim currency that would be kept near the price of the dollar. So now I have kind of a dilemma, with the current price of Steem and SBD. I make more money in one week with 1 article a day then I make in a month in my day job! But I can’t quit my day job, because I have no idea if this is sustainable. Prices could drop, Steem and SBD could crash etc. etc. In other words there is no guarantee. (yet). What would you do? Take the risk and see where this will all end? Or would you be cautious as me. #steemthatshare.
