In this post, I'm going to explain these challenges and how #hive is bringing forth solution to it.



>**Entry Barrier For None Blockchain People**

Since [web3](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-web-3-0) technology is a new and advanced technology, most users who are not blockchain-inclined, find it a bit difficult to adapt and get involved. Hereby creating a kind of mass adaption problem. New users will need to take some time to learn how it works.

>**Extreme Difficult To Regulate** 

Since the idea behind web3 is that key and account ownership is owned by the users, the Government find it extremely difficult to regulate which is why they have come so hard on blockchain technology and its associated products which are [web3](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-web-3-0) and cryptocurrency. 

But with the developments going on in hive and all the kinds of Dapps being built on the chain It is obvious the Government and their regulative agencies are a bit late and lacking behind. [Web3](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-web-3-0) has come to stay and it is just a matter of time before the government will realize and accept this. Since they can't control what they can't have. Users are the owners of web3. 

 Their tough policy will make the web3 journey and adaptation a bit slow but can not be stopped.



>**Security Challenges**

Since an account created on web3 cannot be censored or deleted by anyone or operators, this can give bad actors an enabling environment to operate without anyone having the ability to delete their account, and yet again hive as a web3 social media blockchain came through in this regard. #hive community members like hive watchers and other hardworking individuals in the community who dedicate their effort and time to fish out the bad eggs and warn the community members about them. This made the issue of security minimal also as long as the hive members can keep their keys safe scammers can be controlled.

With the great advantages that web3 has over web2 social media, the above are just some minor challenges because by the time the greater masses will realize the benefits of web3 they will be more than willing to work around them and get involved.
