I had the chance to go for a walk earlier and took some photos of the plants near my block. Moments like these make my walks more meaningful—not only because I get some physical activity, but also because I make time for something creative. Although it was just a quick photography session, I was able to capture some interesting subjects to add to my black and white photo collection here on the platform.

Some say photography has a calming effect on the mind, and I believe there’s truth to that—especially when the subject is nature. For me, plants and flowers are especially soothing. They stay still, moved only by the wind, and their stillness brings a sense of calm and serenity. That’s also what makes them such pleasant and easy subjects to photograph.


Photography helps me slow down and notice the quiet beauty in everyday surroundings. Each shot is a small reminder to stay present and appreciate simple moments. I look forward to capturing more of these peaceful scenes on my walks.
