Happy Monday Steemers and traders! I hope you all got some rest on the weekend and are ready for another week of rollercoasting on the markets :) I'm mostly in the watch mode and probably will sit most trades out unless a very clear setup presents itself somewhere.

It appears over the weekend North-Korea chatter has kind of quieted down, so equities and futs are already enjoying some bounces.

Today we have no more big news coming except for the monetary policy meeting minutes recap from RBA later at night. Also worth noting, Christopher Kent, a bignose from the RBA, mentioned in a recent speech,  that it will be some time, before RBA is looking to normalise rates. So you might want to keep an eye on AUD pairs later.

Cue the charts. Again i'm noting these are just my thoughts on some charts that have caught my eye. I'm probably gonna sit some or most of these setups out, but i also hope these give some of you a few ideas. Feel free to let me know about your thoughts in the comments.

EURUSD weekly. Bullish but looking for a bigger pullback

GBPUSD retesting now

USDJPY daily retesting the breakdown area but what discourages me is the measured move is done.

USDJPY m30 this is the batman pattern we talked about which usually points to upwards continuation in an uptrend. Here in this example it also pointed upwards, as a reversal pattern. (I must note i also have one failed occurrence recorded on a reversal). This pattern seems interesting to me and i will continue to monitor it.

WTI oil retest done, what now?

DAX daily is bouncing. No risk in the markets, weekend was cool.

BTCUSD using fibs to target areas, well i would have missed much of the move. The next obvious target is the 2.61 fib around 4900! Caution though, breakout measured move done here.
