Berry Blend Smoothie
Hello Everyone,

I recently found a community called @amazingdrinks here on Hive and said I was going to share my smoothie drinks in this community, so today I decided to make a smoothie blend and share it with you all.

I feel like it's pretty easy to make smoothies once you find a good ratio of ingredients that work for your preferred taste.

I get all of my ingredients from a local Aldi's grocery store.

I prefer fresh ingredients over anything, but I usually get some of my ingredients in frozen medley bags because buying the fruits separately and fresh is more costly and will still need to be frozen because I live alone and cannot consume all of the ingredients before they go bad.

As we see I do have some fresh stuff here, and these are things that last longer in the refrigerator.

* Half carrot.
* 3 Mandarin oranges.
* Half lemon
* Strawberries
* Blueberries
* Raspberries
* Almond milk
* Water

My measurements are all done by eye.

Let's start making this smoothie!

Adding all of the ingredients is pretty easy. Just throw the carrot in there, peel those oranges and throw them in there, and dump some of the berry medley in the blender. I go about 3/4ths full blender.
This will give me 3 full cups of this healthy amazing drink.

I've never had any issues with this **Season's Choice** brand. The fruit always comes relatively fresh looking in its frozen state.

I pour the almond milk halfway up the fruit.

Then I add some water to about 3/4ths level of the fruit.

The reason I do this is to conserve almond milk. Things are not cheap these days, and it is smart in my opinion to get the highest calorie almond milks because they can be diluted without noticing with a little water. This is a money saving trick I've come up with.

You can throw the pulp in the blender too, or dispose of it, but most of the time I just add it in the blender. It doesn't make a big difference with the flavor either way to add the pulp.

With this template for smoothie creation, it's going to come out pretty perfect. I've never heard a complaint from any man or woman who's ever drank my smoothies, and that puts a smile on my face every time :)

I make other types of smoothies too, and sometimes use other ingredients like cherries and bananas. I love a variety of different fruit tastes and this one is more of a tart drink that goes really good with meals.

Would you try futuremind's smoothies?

I would love to know in the comments!

Thank you for stopping by,

Have a great day! -@futuremind
