Greetings Steemians,

I woke today to see my usual beefy post payout , on a creation that I actually did work really hard on and was proud of. Thanks community, for ignoring a long time content creator, really appreciate that.. *(thank you to the trail vote, I'll get a little bit from it, and the few who did stop by, thank you. You are appreciated.)*

Maybe I'll get lucky and @ocdb will manually curate me. You guys *are* manually curating whitelisted content creators right? I've yet to receive a manual vote, even though I'm whitelisted. 

So, in a rut, a little pissed off, and feeling like *"what is the fucking point"*, I heard a familiar sound. A weed wacker.

My landlord owns various properties in the city I reside in, and in all respects, lives the *"American dream"* whatever the hell that is... 

I've offered him my meticulous lawn care services, because I enjoy landscaping. He said:

*"Nah, I have a guy."*

Ok, no probs..

Well, his guy mows the entire lawn with a weed wacker. I shit you not... And really, there is nothing wrong with that, but he can afford decent lawn care service. 

*"Jesus I'm starting to sound like an old man."*

So, in relation to Steem, there is no relation. The world has gone mad, and people are greedy short term thinkers.
