Ustedes han sido de los primeros que me han acompañado en este viaje de la ortodoncia desde un principio, es por eso que me complace compartir uno de los recientes logros de este proceso que no ha sido tan largo hasta ahora en relación a muchos de mis amigos a los que sí les tardó más tiempo en llegar a donde estoy ahora. Hace unos meses me dijo mi odontóloga que estábamos cerca de cumplir el objetivo en la parte inferior y que por ello debería estar preparada para dar el siguiente paso, que vendría siendo la colocación del retenedor que sustituiría durante al menos dos años esa tortura de los aparados, pues no les voy a mentir, recientemente había estado siendo una pesadilla por cuestión de que limpiarme los dientes era casi imposible. </div>

You have been among the first to join me on this orthodontic journey from the beginning, which is why I am pleased to share one of the recent accomplishments of this process that has not been as long so far in relation to many of my friends who did take longer to get to where I am now. A few months ago my dentist told me that we were close to achieving the goal in the lower part and that I should be ready to take the next step, which would be the placement of the retainer that would replace for at least two years that torture of the braces, because I'm not going to lie, recently it had been a nightmare because of the fact that cleaning my teeth was almost impossible. </div>

<div class="text-justify"> Me habían puesto una cadeneta para que terminara de cerrar lo que hacía falta y así terminar, por eso estaba siendo más incómodo de lo normal que me pudiera limpiar los dientes adecuadamente, sintiendo la encía inflamada por la falta de higiene ligada con la propia presión de la ortodoncia. El mes pasado en el control que siempre debe tratar de hacerse en la fecha, me había comentado que faltaba un mes más con la cadeneta, las posibilidades eran que podía quitarme la ortodoncia entre esos dos meses aproximadamente… me sentí aliviada aunque suene extraño de que no lo hubiese tenido que retirar en ese momento porque no estaba preparada mi economía para pagar el costo del retenedor inferior, esperar un mes me permitió planificarme mejor respecto a este asunto. No saben el alivio que sentí al conseguir esto. </div>

Last month in the control that should always try to be done on the date, he had told me that there was one more month left with the braces, the chances were that I could remove the braces between those two months approximately... I was relieved although it sounds strange that I had not had to remove it at that time because my economy was not prepared to pay the cost of the lower retainer, waiting a month allowed me to plan better on this matter. You don't know how relieved I was to get this. </div>

<div class="text-justify"> Estuve un poco asustada durante el procedimiento donde me removieron la ortodoncia inferior porque se utilizan como unas tenazas para romper eso que queda donde se fija a los dientes, la odontóloga sintiendo mi nerviosismo me invitó a tranquilizarme diciéndome que no había ningún riesgo de que se cayeran los dientes, y es que sí se siente como si en vez de estarte quitando el residuo estuviesen extrayéndote los dientes propiamente, pero nada que ver. Después me dio algo para enjuagarme pues quedan partes en la boca que dan asco, la verdad, junto con restos de comida debido a la cadeneta que no permite limpiarte con propiedad los dientes, yo usé todo el líquido que me dio porque lo peor que podría pasar es tragarse eso para mí, nunca me ha gustado el tragar la saliva cuando estoy en el odontólogo por eso. </div>

Afterwards he gave me something to rinse with because there are parts in my mouth that are disgusting, to be honest, along with food debris due to the chain that does not allow you to clean your teeth properly, I used all the liquid he gave me because the worst thing that could happen is to swallow that for me, I have never liked swallowing saliva when I am at the dentist because of that. </div>

<div class="text-justify"> El momento de tomar la impresión de los dientes también da algo de asco porque esa masa con la que se realiza el molde tiene una textura extraña y nada agradable, además de que tienes que quedarte con ella por un momento adentro de la boca para que tome apropiadamente la forma. Lo importante es que no se tardó nada en entregar el retenedor, la persona con la cual trabaja para hacerlos es rápida, está allí mismo en la zona, por eso me había comentado que en un par de días después tendría el retenedor listo, adelantándose a un solo día… que después terminó siendo igual dos por cuestiones ajenas a nuestra voluntad, ese día tuvo una emergencia personal. Sientes una leve presión cuando te los pones las primeras veces, pensaba que me había librado para siempre de esto pero no, aquí sigue de nuevo en una presentación renovada. </div>

The important thing is that it did not take long at all to deliver the retainer, the person with whom he works to make them is fast, he is right there in the area, that's why he had told me that in a couple of days he would have the retainer ready, anticipating a single day... which later ended up being the same two for reasons beyond our control, that day he had a personal emergency. You feel a slight pressure when you put them on the first few times, I thought I was free of this forever but no, here it is again in a renewed presentation. </div>

<div class="text-justify"> Ahora finalmente se podrá enfocar en la parte superior que es la que siempre me ha interesado más por la separación de los dientes que tenía pero que ya no está, afortunadamente fue una de las primeras cosas que se resolvió. Toca esperar a que este largo proceso vaya avanzando como lo ha estado haciendo sin contratiempos gracias a que mis dientes no se encuentran en un mal estado, desde un principio me dijo la odontóloga que no tardaría mucho, pero considerando que la mayoría de personas se toman más de dos años usando la ortodoncia pues objetivamente seguiría representando una cantidad de tiempo considerable. Por ahora me encuentro sumamente feliz de ver un objetivo alcanzado, sintiendo que esta inversión está rindiendo sus frutos y que sí vamos encaminados hacia donde quería estar desde hace mucho. </div>

><div class="text-justify"> Now I will finally be able to focus on the upper part which is the one that has always interested me the most because of the separation of the teeth that I had but that is no longer there, fortunately it was one of the first things that was solved. It is time to wait for this long process to move forward as it has been doing without setbacks thanks to the fact that my teeth are not in a bad state, from the beginning the dentist told me that it would not take long, but considering that most people take more than two years using orthodontics, objectively it would still represent a considerable amount of time. For now I am extremely happy to see a goal achieved, feeling that this investment is paying off and that we are on the way to where I have wanted to be for a long time. </div>
