What's up? Here I am back with battle number 49# of this curious series in which I share my appreciations about events that I consider worthy to be published.

---
***[From Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com/) and edited with CANVA***
---

In first place, the Lovecraftian-looking beast with the airs of Balto, the hero of winter, was my opponent in the first position. Coeurl Lurker with Taunt and Dodge is a formidable tank, although on this occasion he wasn't as effective, as his Achilles heel, which is magic attack (at this level), I was able to cover in my team. Coeurl died in the second round but was soon resurrected by Hight Priest Darius, on the other hand, in my team was Robo Dragon-Knight, a recurring tank in my strategies when Delwyn is to boost. In the enemy team there were 3 monsters with magic so he turned out to be quite effective thanks to his Void, his divine Shield was not so remarkable since due to the battle condition they all had this particularity. The fast enemy tank came back to life with great momentum to dodge but it was "Captain's Ghost" who defeated him after he dodged the attacks of several of my legends.

In the second position a powerful Reach carrier was there to do a lot of damage to my Robo Dragon-Knight. This corsair also had Reflection Shield, however this defensive feature didn't shine because there were no monsters in my team with Blast or Thorns. By round 4 it fell to my second card, Djinn Oshannus. This deity of the seas looking legend had to take the dragon knight's place before his downfall, this magical void bearer held up well and even managed to defeat a recent edition "RiftWatchers" legend on the enemy team, Runemancer Atuat. However, he was soon felled by Dumackle Exile's attack.

For the third position, in the enemy team Runemancer Atuat was slightly hurting (because of the void), my team, however his ability to reduce the attack to range was his truly appreciable contribution, as it affected the Zyvax's boosted demolition attack. My third champion was Void Dragon, this fast magic attacker was able to resist well the attacks of the rearguard composed of mages on the enemy team. He also managed to dodge a bit but fell to Hight Priest Darius' coup de grace.

In fourth position, a slow but popular water splinter mage was present. The healing cutter that is present in many of my battles, "Captain's Ghost". This mage who was blessed by Delwyn's buff was responsible for defeating several of the enemies and even delivering the final blow to secure the victory. In the enemy team a Sneak carrier was the one who covered the position. This fast attacker starred in an ironic episode as he managed to hit Poseidon on multiple occasions, leaving him close to defeat, but when he was in the first position, he was defeated by the coup de grace of precisely that legendary card.

In the rear there were two powerful archers, Poseidon and Zyvax, although both were affected by Runemancer Atuat, until their fall. These attackers were part of the offensive that secured the victory. In rival terrain, the priest capable of resurrection and the well-known Renova that increases the base life of his allies were the ones who covered the rear with great impetus.
***The complete alineation was:*** If you want to see the replay click [here](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_9eec865d5525dcede32486e1a7f4542d&ref=).

---

*Extra Curious facts:*
This battle was pretty even, if I had missed a few more blows, the defeat would have been for me. The enemy lineup was formidable. It covered several possibilities and did not skimp on damage. The strategy I presented today I have encountered multiple times, hence the title I chose. This tends to happen when the success rate is high, it starts to repeat itself as it tends to be a sure win. Although over time as cards are added or more powerful strategies are discovered, then the trends in popular strategies change. I didn't always manage to win, in fact when I chose the fire splinter to face this lineup, I lost. ***[Second Encounter](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_eeb845eeb1e296e731843c1f20457284&ref=)*** ***[Third Encounter](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_c7383109dec2a1123d9a3d186bcc8086&ref=)***
---

If you want to join in the wonderful world of Splinterlands click [here](https://splinterlands.com?ref=gabrielrr17 )

---

Gab.com

Twitter

Cuenta secundaria (Dibujos, edición y juegos) | Secondary account (Drawings, editing and games)
