This is bad, really bad. Take a wrong doing and escalate it by doing something worse. What now? [Source](https://pixabay.com/illustrations/bomb-explode-anger-stress-angry-477229/) First things first. TAKE A DEEP BREATH! After this point, I have no idea... Maybe that gives us enough oxygen for a clearer view. In the meantime, I hope I calmed myself down enough to make a text analysis. Although I feel it will still be very acid. Not that it matters too much at the level of escalation we reached. I won't analyse the first paragraphs, because while I still believe the top witnesses were wrong by imposing the accounts freeze, we now can see the lengths at which Tron and Justin Sun are willing to go to show who's the boss and the only boss. We just don't know if this was coming no matter what. I'll go straight to the "Commitment to the Community" section. Oh, what a joke this title will prove to be! > The Steem blockchain will not be abandoned or merged to TRON unless the community decides so. Does that sound like keeping Steem on life-support until...? > Deploy in the next Hard Fork as soon as possible to reduce power down time to 1-3 days in alignment to other mainstream blockchains, while open for discussion for better economic implications. So, basically removes any obstacles for exchanges to dictate the structure of top witnesses using clients' STEEM, without consent. Like they did now, only with far less risks for exchanges. > For the next 4-6 weeks, the Steemit team will be using the voting rights to resume the order of the community while having an open channel for meeting community members and Witnesses. The goal is to protect the Steem blockchain from bad actors, add transparency, and receive community suggestions and advice. That basically says it all: "resume the order of the community" Actually, there is another interesting wording in another place: > The TRON Foundation is committed to add value and grow the Steem ecosystem and intends to use part of the Steemit stake for such executions. I know this was written by someone with bad English skills and the context was different, however "executions" sounds like you will soon pick up Kalashnikovs and shoot the former top witnesses, literally. > After the 4-6 weeks period, the Steemit team will give the governance back to the community when it’s back in order and mutual agreement. Until then, expect downvotes for those who fall out of line, at minimum! At least please share a conduit code, so that we all know who to salute, when to bow, when to shut the f*ck up, and everything else that's needed to be "back in order"... Everything else from this point forward was added as a smoke barrier. Everything was said above. But you are free to "enjoy" the full "[open letter](https://steempeak.com/p/@steemitblog/an-open-letter-to-the-community-hf22-5)", if you haven't already.
