I've lived on this planet for 146 years so far and in that time have *learned a thing or two about a thing or two*. A lot of those things are external to myself and some of them are all about me and it's the latter that has, at times, meant the most when applied to the journey forwards. 

There's a lot of people who don't learn those self-lessons though, or ignore and shun them and that often leads to a sub-optimal future and life generally - it's best to learn from mistakes and failures and to create a better future from those lessons in my opinion. So many don't take that journey of self-discovery and they lives are somewhat less for it. 

So, because I'm interested, I thought I'd put it out there to you wise and knowledgeable folks and see what your thoughts and experiences might have been.
