I've been feeling a little out of sorts lately so decided to do something enjoyable with my Sunday. I'm not exactly sure why I chose to mess around with my macro lens though; I always seem to come away disappointed with my images and generally fucken depressed but, be that as it may, I spent some time playing around with my camera and even managed to get some acceptable shots. I mean, *acceptable to me,* as others may think they are terrible.

I'd planned to take some shots of textures as I've got a post in mind for down the track so I decided to start with some fabrics. *I whipped my jeans off and went at it*...Ok, I didn't do that at all, but I did go to the wardrobe to grab a pair of Levi's and started taking pictures. The images in this post are the result.

I have a mirrorless Olympus E-M10 MkIII and use the genuine Olympus macro lens on it. I've taken a few good shots in the past but my eyes tend to let me down. Or is it the fact I'm a terrible photographer that lets me down? It's probably the latter. I have a go though, and maybe that's all that really counts? It's not like I have to earn a living through my photos.

I don't know what settings I used as the *point, shoot and hope*, method is the one I employ mostly.

I shot on manual though, and the numbers 2.5, F4.5 and 200ISO come to mind. I've got no idea what that means, but after my well-practiced *point, shoot and hope* process happened I ended up with some photographs. I haven't zoomed in on any of these, what you see is right out of the camera, although I'll be able to zoom down on them as I shot them in a fairly large format. I also haven't edited them as I can't be bothered and don't know how to use any photo-editing programs...nor do I want to know.

Once I photographed my jeans I whipped my underpants off and photographed them...Ok, not really...But *I did photograph some other fabrics and I'm really happy with how they came out.* I'll share them over time.

It's been a very chilled Sunday for me and I'm really pleased I got a few photos that I'll be able to use in upcoming posts. I'm more pleased I didn't come away disappointed with my shots though and I look forward to sharing a few.

Anyway, right now I'm considering a snooze because, why the hell not? There's nothing better in life than Sunday afternoon snoozes...except for *getting into the right other person's pants* of course. Right? Oh, and just so you know, I actually hand pants on the whole time I wrote this post...Or did I?
