**Hi everybody!** This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes By chance today I found a type of insect [Coreinae](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coreinae) which is guarding its eggs on a leaf. This is the mother of the egg and will continue to incubate the egg until it hatches. The mother looked very aggressive when I tried to take some close-up shots. Perhaps it is an attempt to defend themselves and their eggs from the threat of other predators. But what is clear is that these insects do not have a venomous bite, they will only emit a very stinging substance when they feel really threatened.
