This article is my response to @markwhittam his question how to defend ourselves against the CPS. (https://steemit.com/familyprotection/@markwhittam/fight-fire-with-fire-then-we-all-get-burnt-again) Mark wrote: How do we build a network of people who are willing, ready, and equipped with the knowledge and power to peacefully fend off any attack or knock at the door from the dreaded CPS!
Fire can not be fought with fire. Everybody knows this but this is what most people do most of the time. Our believes in the system are wrought so deep within us. We are programmed to do exactly what they want us to do. Like stepping up to the plate, to protest, to rally and shout. But it never helped us one bit. You can step in front of a train and command it to stop it but it will not stop. So it is with our governments. Whatever you do to fight them, it will not make much difference. But there are ways to fight them indirectly. There was a time that slavery was considered normal. At one point slavery was abolished but that was not because the slaves protested. It was not because the slaves petitioned or wrote to some MP that it was finally abolished. The main reason that It was abolished was an economic one. The slaves started to revolt and changes within society made slavery less profitable. There was also an almost universal awareness that slavery was immoral and people called out for the emancipation of the slaves. Looking back at history there are two important lessons to be learned. - Raising awareness. The truth will set you free. - Hit them where it hurts. Money is almost always the main driver behind any wrongdoing.
[_Source_](https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwim1LbU56_ZAhVSmVkKHUBaBpgQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fmamajlove.com%2Fblog%2Flovelution-revolutionary-love-intentional-justice-my-big-why%2F&psig=AOvVaw0vPlDmEcf2ZsEegjOz4GMo&ust=1519054145980897) In the 18 century the zeitgeist was changing. People started to see the slaves as their fellow man instead of property that can be treated as the masters see fit. It was because of the works of people like John Gabriel Stedman that people became more aware. To see a problem one first has to become aware of it. More and more people become aware of what's going on within the SS and CPS but unfortunately a lot of people don't have a clue. Raising awareness is the first thing that needs to be done. @familyprotection is a good example of how this can be achieved. A safe place where people can share their stories and opinions without censorship and forever secured on the blockchain. But not many people outside Steemit will find @familyprotection so a __dedicated website__ is needed where people can share their stories and support each other. This website can then also be used to find people in your local community to find support and share information. People who are in a legal battle with the CPS are gagged to speak out publicly but they might want to talk about it privately. Valuable information can be shared between parents who are in battle with the CPS and parents who fear that it will happen to them. But even if everybody is completely aware of how the CPS operates, it’s not enough. As long people comply with the system nothing will change. Thousands of people have already written to their MPs. Many petitions have been created but to no avail. The system is the problem. Asking the system to change is like the slave asking his master to whip him a bit less. It will not happen. _[Source](https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwi80rGJprLZAhWBxVkKHdCWCdAQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.anitafredericks.com%2Fjess-ainscough%2F&psig=AOvVaw0frIdummrRfjWg_KDvN8n9&ust=1519140348796612)_ People need to stand in their power and stop complying with the system. I’m surprised that almost everybody goes along with everything the system orders them do. Like paying for a TV license, mandatory health insurance, council tax and so on. The problem is of course that you stop complying and not pay your taxes that the state will send armed thugs to put you in a cage. But it will become more difficult for them to do that when there is a strong community. A community where people come together, support each other and make a stand. If enough people stand up together it becomes very difficult for the system to counter that. And so it should be with parents who fear the dreadful knock on the door from CPS. The moment that happens the community should be alerted and stand up to the CPS. It happened several times in the UK that bailiffs tried to evict people from their houses. The community stood together in support and the evictions did not happen. If people create hotlines to call when in need of assistance, the community can be alerted and show up when the CPS is trying to snatch a child. If the CPS shows up with a warrant and the police than nothing can be done. But that’s often not the case. But people are easily intimidated, they start talking and often let the CPS into their house. (Two things that you should never do.) If a lot of people show up in support of the parents, it becomes more difficult for the CPS to play their dirty tricks. If we can achieve that less children are taken into care it becomes less profitable. That might grind the system to a halt. _[Source](https://attentiontoliving.files.wordpress.com/2014/01/money-pile.jpg)_ The main reason why children are taken into care is money. Children have become a commodity and jobs are at stake. There are many people involved when a child is taken into care. We have the social workers, judges, the adoption agencies, the medical experts, the specialist foster carers, the insurance companies, the lawyers and so on. So it's important to make it less profitable for them. If strong communities can prevent the CPS from taking children into care, no money can be made. **************** Another way to prevent that your child is taken into care is to __run__. Once the CPS has set their eyes on you it will most likely not stop before it has your child. Leaving the country and migrating to a country with a non extradition treaty might be the best solution to keep your children. But this is not easy and costs a lot of money. If we can build a worldwide (Steemit) community of support we can help these parents financially and legally to set up their lives in a new country.

United we stand, Divided we fall.

There’s an old African saying: __It takes a village to raise a child__. We cannot allow the government to take control over our lives and our children. Strong families and communities are needed to defend ourselves against the government. Communities that are willing to stand up and don’t comply to everything the state orders them. Then maybe we can stop the child snatchers taking away our children. We can build all the websites in the world. We can demonstrate and write to our mp’s. We can petition until the cows come home but it will not work if we don’t stand up, stand in our power and stand together.
