Welcome back to my food blog, Today i would like share the recipe of Sabudan Khichdi,is commonly prepared in Indian during the fasting season of Navratri, I love Khichdi so I don't wait for the fast. I make this most of the time. It's a simple dish yet so flavorful. *It's also vegan and gluten-free.* Sabudana Khichdi is made with sago pearls(sabudana)! Making this khichdi requires some tips to ensure that the sago pearls do not stick or turn into a lumpy mass, soaked the sabudana in water to a avoid the stickiness of it. Like I told you earlier that I eat it during fasts and also for breakfast at other times and capsicum is my favorite vegetable, so I also added capsicum in it so that it becomes more tasty and delicious. > It is rich in carbohydrates and protein obtained from peanuts. Sabudana is rich in carbs, and hence this dish makes a filling breakfast.  # <center> Timing </center> |Preparation Time |1 hrs| |-|-| |Cooking Time|15 Minute| |Course|Breakfast| |Serving| 3 Person| # <center> The ingredients </center>  ____________________________________________________________  ____________________________________________________________  โข 2 cup of Sabudana Sago. โข 2 Medium size boiled potato. โข One Medium size chopped Tomato. โข 3 tbsp of chopped coriander. โข 1 tsp of lime juice adjust to taste. โข 2 tsp of oil. โข 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds. โข 2-3 green chillies. โข 1 tsp of Grated Ginger. โข 1 small size Capsicum. โข 4 tbsp of Roasted Peanut. โข Salt to Taste. โข 1 tsp of Red chili powder.(optional) ____________________________________________________________ # <center> Process </center> ____________________________________________________________  Step 1. Wash and soak the sabudana pearls for 1 hour, it will absorb water and swell up quite a bit ____________________________________________________________  Step 2. Drain the water completely with the help of Strainer. ____________________________________________________________  Now your sabudana is ready for cooking ______________________________  Step 3. Take a pan, heat the oil, then add peanuts, in low flame roast it for 2 minutes, keep it aside. ____________________________________________________________  Step 4. Heat oil and add the cumin seeds,When they sizzle and turn a light brown, then and add green chilli and capsicum & Tomato, saute it for 2 mintues in low flame, untill the tomato cooked. ____________________________________________________________  Step 5. Now add the potatoes,Saute until the potatoes turn a light golden brown. ____________________________________________________________  ____________________________________________________________  ____________________________________________________________  Step 6. Add the soaked sabudana, turn heat to low Stir continuously and let it heat through. Keep Mixing untill the The sabudana will turn translucent. ______________________________ ______________________________  Step 7 Add Roasted Peanuts,lemon juice, and salt.
