In my previous post, I wrote about the abilities and characteristics of a manager in a company, today, I will be writing on the functions of a manager in an organization. Alongside the attributes of a manager, the manager has several functions in the organization. These functions include **Human Resource** which has to do with getting good staffs for the organization, motivating the staffs in the organization training and induction of staffs, and handling the activities of the staffs.

Another function of a manager in an organization will be **Marketing and Public Relations**. An organization's manager is responsible for ensuring that production is done in the right style. Asides for production, it is important that the manager ensures that the goods are marketed the right way, and customers are properly attended to. It is the job of the manager to create a good relationship between the suppliers and the business.

**General Administration** is another function of a manager. Attending to the necessary paper works, and data analysis in the organization. Handling operations, such as meeting customer demands, and ensuring that the organization's objectives are reached is an important function of the manager. Among the functions of a manager includes distribution of goods to the appropriate customer at the right time at the least cost expected.

In addition, the manager has a great job to do when it comes to the **Finance** of the company. It is the job of the manager to ensure that all the financial resources needed to make the organization financially stable.
