Power is something a good number of us want, it is something a good number of us always try to get and this is because power gives you an edge or an advantage over things, it gives you an advantage over situations and it also gives you an advantage over people.

There are things you will get away with when you have power that other people will get trapped in.
There are situations that will tie an ordinary person down but will have no effect whatsoever over you.

Power is a very beautiful thing, but if not tamed, could destroy a person and totally make a person feel worthless.
When power is used the right way, it will make situations beautiful, it would make people's lives better and correct rough edges.
But, when power is used the wrong way, it will begin to make good situations look ugly, it will begin to turn good things around and make them appear bad.
When power is misused, it could also turn the bearer into a terrible person, it could ruin the life of the individual involved if not controlled.

Whenever you are in a position of power, make sure you constantly run a regular check on yourself from time to time and make sure you are not getting proud because after pride comes destruction.
