GekeVenn: SPACEX

It was reported today that a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket tore a hole in the atmosphere in August last year. More specifically, it tore a hole in the ionosphere, which is the upper atmosphere.

The rocket was carrying an Earth observation satellite for Taiwan's space organization. The hole was only temporary and was gone in about three hours. However, if more and more holes are caused by more and more commercial rockets, it could affect global positioning receivers.

Of course, Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) is well connected to the government that regulates it. Of note on the venn for SpaceX is the cluster of lobbyists associated with former senators Breaux and Lott.

In fact, the two formed a lobbying firm called the Breaux Lott Leadership Group that was bought out by Patton Boggs (another lobbying firm) in 2010. It's currently known as Squire Patton Boggs and both Breaux and Lott, according to the Washington Post, currently run their lobbying arm.
