A tongue is powerful, it has the ability to destroy within seconds what took some years to achieve. There is a need for caution while in a conversation. Wisdom is very vital at this point in the selection of appropriate words.

The ability to control the tongue, enhances a perfect communication. What do I mean by these lines of words? You know, during a conversation with an individual, there is a need for adequate understanding. This goes a long way to actualize the purpose of the discussion. The ability to control the tongue in a chat with an individual gives room for understanding. In other words, in order to establish a perfect talk or chat, the tongue should be used pleasantly without hurting another person. When the tongue is not tamed, it can be a source of harm to another individual. The tongue in this concept has some important roles in a relationship; in that, it can be a means of encouragement. It can also be a means of acknowledgment. There are ways to use the tongue effectively and we shall be discussing one vital point in this section. # Point to note **Choose the ideal time to speak;** Speaking up is really very good, in fact it is an effective way of communication, but there is a need for discretion. In communicating with people, it is therefore important to speak when necessary. For instance in a relationship, some men wouldn't want a woman that talks too much, some men would prefer a good listener, and a woman that is few in speech. When there is a proper understanding of this, issues will not spring up.

In asking or making demands for something, wisdom is absolutely required to get the best result.
