Introduction:

What's up, I'm Ggt, just a normal guy who enjoys playing games, reading posts on Steemit, and also making his own. Yesterday, I decided to install Unturned and play on a multiplayer vanilla server by myself to see how far I could get. In this post, I'll be telling you all about the experience I had while playing.

Before we start, what is Unturned?

Unturned is a multiplayer zombie survival game where you're thrown into a map with nothing but your bare hands and expected to survive through whatever means necessary. This could mean hunting, scavenging, crafting, building a home, banditing, and everything else in-between.

Now here begins my journey in Unturned.

I spawned in near a farm with a lack of any nearby zombies or players. I decided to take advantage of this, move in, and loot whatever I could. I came across some basic clothing, a potato for lacking meal, a scythe which I could use as a melee weapon, and luckily a crossbow with a loaded bolt.

After wrapping out and double checking the farm for anything I could've left behind, I began moving out towards the main road. As I neared it, I heard some seriously loud screeching as a seemingly possessed player, no older then thirteen, charged me, fists raised and ready for a fight. The scythe from before would soon come in handy as I had taken it out and made quick work of the wild savage.

With that over and done with, I resumed my travels down the main road coming across a few zombies along the way. I used my scythe to take them out before continuing forth and stumbling across some sort of abandoned military escort.

There were some nearby zombies in which like the wild savage I made quick work of using my scythe. After clearing out any potential threats and scoping out the area for any hidden players, I moved in searching the vehicles for anything valuable. I had hit the jackpot, finding some military clothing, a military vest, some scrap metal, a green smoke grenade, a bandage, a viable semi-automatic rifle with a loaded magazine, and an extra one just in case. Satisfied, I moved on out towards a bridge which led towards the map's main city.

While walking along the bridge, I had noticed a naked player swimming in the water below. Perfect target practice to test out a weapon I had never used before. I missed the first three shots as expected but quickly adjusted to the weapon's bullet drop and recoil, landing the last three shots with two initial ones to the chest, then a finisher to the poor lad's head, sinking him to his early grave.

Happy with my newfound marksman skills, I moved further along the bridge before just about half-way through coming across a prone player. I didn't hesitate to put a bullet in his head, giving him no time to respond. I felt bad at first thinking maybe he wasn't hostile, but after finding a 7x scope on his body for my rifle, I knew it was worth the shot.

Once I had reached the end of the bridge and south entrance to the city, I noticed two players firing at each other a short distance away. One was in regular old gear wielding a small pistol, the other in top-notch military grade gear firing a strong assault rifle. I waited for the military guy to finish off his target before laying two quick consecutive shots to the head. It was justified in my books, I mean he just finished killing another man.

I looted both their corpses and found a strong sniper rifle, before deciding to take a vantage point on the forest outskirts over-looking the city on top a hill. There I managed to sneak up on a player who I killed using my scythe with a single blow to the back of the head.

Now laying prone, I had put down my weapon's bipod and scoped in to notice a small guild of five players fighting a pack of zombies. I managed to take out three as the other two scurried towards the safety of nearby buildings.

Then, off in the distance I heard a vehicle incoming with a spec-ops armed player inside. I only had two shots left, so I decided that instead of risking it all, I'd pack up my gear and move off into the forest to setup camp before making my next move.

I'd like to know if you guys would like to read more of this, and if so, should I do it solo or get a few friends to help me out. Also, I'd like to encourage everyone to feel free and comment below, and I hope you all have a wonderful day. Once again, thanks for reading.
