While Altcoins are taking a major hit at the market, Bittrex announces a major blow to BitShares (BTS). In the long-run BTS may prove a wonderful coin to hold onto but in the short-term it takes a hit to record low 0.00001291 BTC.

The announcement was made by BitShares offiical Twitter A/c;

The same can be confirmed from Bittrex's BTS-BTC market.

As expected, the BTS prices fell by almost 35% since 01 Oct to as of now.

While it may be a good move to accumulate some BitShares for **LONG TERM** but the graphs does not look very tempting for those who may be interested in **SHORT TERM**. Traders are likely to stay away for a couple of days.

<h2>FUD (Fear, Uncertainity, Doubts)</h2>

>If Poloniex follows Bittrex's suit and de-list BTS it's game over for the coin. We're talking dead. That's the big risk right now. Will it happen? There wont be any warning signs they'll just do it and say they don't have to comment. Said one curious supporter.

Although, I disagree with that but it's a legitimate concern.

<h2>Why De-listed?</h2>

 Officially, there's not much to say as why Bittrex has made this move hence leaving room for speculations. But many believes that Bittrex made the move because;

1. The fact that BTS is technically a competition against Bittrex, and it is even better, because it is decentralized and it definitely has a lot of potential

3. It is also being said that there's some technical issue with RAM usage for the wallet and expensive demand.

I am of the opinion that may be Bittrex's afraid of the competition on the growing popularity of DEX!?. After all, DEX are talk of the town with the increasing regulations of governments.
