Introduction

Combining two different things to convert it into a single usable object is something we frequently see in our daily lives. Combining two atoms of Hydrogen and one of oxygen makes water (Okay, that's it what I know about the subject Chemistry) and combining different parts, accessories to make a whole new functional machine are some of the examples that I can think of at the moment. But wait, are there any other examples you have in your mind that are just imaginable but can't be implemented in a real life. If yes, then start working on them and one day you will be able to implement what you have just imagined in your creative mind. In this post, I am going to talk about an awesome woman who did something extraordinary, something that people like me can only imagine and that was combining Art with Crypto!

Marguerite Christine

Picture taken from her Facebook Fan Page! Meet this woman known as @coin\_artist on social media. In an email exchange with Chris O'Brien, she revealed that she learned about cryptography and started trying to understand Bitcoin in 2013. She wanted to capture from the moment when Satoshi Nakamoto hit enter and mine the Genesis block and from there those moments of achievements that the community had experienced, those very like moments of victory that have led into a new world! Further she said
Scheming the artwork, the stories, the trail is probably as addicting as playing them. Mystery has always intrigued us, art on its own is a cryptic puzzle, but what happens when we combine art that literally conceals the patterns and data that lead to money?
Source This thought forced her to start a series of Bitcoin Puzzles called The Legend of Satoshi Nakamoto and till today, she has published three Bitcoin puzzle paintings. What people had to do with these puzzles? Solve the puzzle to obtain the private key of a wallet concealed in her paintings and transfer Bitcoins to your wallet, that's it! I will talk more about her third puzzle since it was the one that went viral and got popular among the treasure hunters. I've been trying to contact her asking some questions about her first two puzzles and everything I want to know about this gem. As soon as she replies, I will be posting her interview here as well.

The Legend of Satoshi Nakamato, 4.87 Grand Prize And A Mystery!

On 3rd of April, 2015, @coin\_artist posted a tweet revealing her third Bitcoin puzzle of her Satoshi Nakamoto series. This painting was actually a puzzle that held the key to a wallet that contained 4.87 Bitcoin. Christine was the lead of the project and created this cryptographic puzzle with the help of three other team members: Rob Myers, Ruben Alexander and Tyler. As soon as she posted this tweet, it had become a great obsession for many searchers and treasure hunters. Thousands of people spent hundreds of hours trying to solve it and closely watching the puzzle's wallet commonly known as 1FLAMEN6. Oh sorry, I forgot to show you the masterpiece, here it is:

Source You, just like me, might be thinking!
It's easy, let's do it!
But even before you start thinking like this and sound like a stupid person on this planet, I would suggest you to go through the solution of her First Decred puzzle. Now, let's talk about the mystery! On November 17, someone deposited 0.125 Bitcoin bringing the wallet's total to 5 Bitcoins. It was an exciting day for those who have been closely watching the 1FLAMEN6 wallet and working on solving the mysterious puzzle.
But who deposited those 0.125 Bitcoins?
Three days before this deposit, a redditor named fitwear posted that their 9 Bitcoins had been stolen! Yes, you are right, the same anonymous hacker deposited the 0.125 Bitcoin in 1FLAMEN6 wallet. But why would someone do that. According to @coin\_artist:
It was a brilliant move to send a small amount of coin to the address to pique attention—the audience watching that address are brilliant hacker types, cryptographic puzzle solvers, so when the coins came into 1FLAMEN6 and brought the balance from 4.87 to 5 BTC, it was an exciting day for many of us. And what has been brought before us in regards to this exploit appears to be a giant puzzle.
Source Long story short, the anonymous hacker returned those 9 Bitcoins to fitwear minus 0.125 Bitcoins that were added to this mysterious puzzle bounty!

What's the Latest About This Bitcoin Puzzle

After 2 years, 9 months, 28 days (Approximately), 1FLAMEN6 wallet was completely emptied and someone was finally able to solve this puzzle!

Who was that luckiest person on this planet? @coin\_artist recently posted the solution of her mysterious puzzle.

Isaac(His actual name hasn't been disclosed so far due to security reasons in his country), the 30-year old programmer actually solved the puzzle. He and his wife enjoy solving riddles and he was actually deliberately looking for puzzles related to cryptocurrencies and luckily found this one! You can read more about the solution here.

My Plan

I am trying to contact her via Twitter and would be conducting an exclusive interview for Steemians. Not only asking the details about her first two puzzles and some other stuff, I will also be introducing Steemit platform and inviting her to join our @slothicorn project. Adding to that, I am planning to reach out to some crypto artists, asking them about their cryptoart journey and inviting them to join Steemit. Troy Fearnow, the creator of cryptoart would be the next person I am going to get in touch with soon. Do you have any questions for @coin\_artist? If yes, then let me know in the comment section and I will add those in the list of my questions. @ghulammujtaba

Posted on Utopian.io - Rewarding Open Source Contributors
