It calms our thoughts and it gives us time to talk a while after a hard days work. It's a pity that not many more people do that here, because there is nothing like the smell of the ocean and the calming sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks to make you feel calm and relaxed. </p> <p>During the last few weeks I have noticed a specific person in the area that I have not seen before. He walks around picking up rubbish and he throws everything in the bin, but I have noticed something else too. He digs in the dustbin for food. </p> <h2>How many of you would eat food from a rubbish bin?</h2> <p><br></p> <p>It is quite obvious that he doesn't have a job, but in his own way he is making a difference. Not only does he clean up the area, he also puts smiles on everyone's faces. He has the biggest brightest smile I have ever seen on anyone. </p> <h2>He has absolutely nothing yet he looks like the happiest person on earth!</h2> <p><br></p> <p>I don't usually carry money with me, but sometimes when I have small change with me, I will call him over and give him some money to go and buy himself something to eat. His smile puts a smile on my face and he makes me feel very grateful for what I have in life. </p> <p>I have so much and yet sometimes it is still not enough. I am able to go into a store and buy whatever I need and then, there is this guy with absolutely nothing, looking more grateful for the few cents than what I am after I receive my whole salary. </p> <p>We should be ashamed of ourselves. </p> <p> https://steemitimages.com/0x0/https://cdn.steemitimages.com/0x0/https://imgoat.com/uploads/f93f983524/109474.gif </p> </html>
