As most of you know, I am a teacher and one of the subjects I teach is <strong>creative writing</strong>. I have always loved reading essays and I absolutely love anything creative. I usually give my students exciting projects to do, and therefore decided that I will ask my creative writing classes to sign up for steemit. Some of them are very keen to do this. </p> <p>I hope that this will motivate them and creative a love for writing. I have spent an hour in class today, explaining the site to them, and they will all create their profiles today. </p> <p>I asked them to do a proper introductory post and to tag this as <strong>gedwriting</strong> and <strong>introducemyself</strong>. Please be on the lookout for this tag. I really want them to be excited about this and not just lose hope after a few posts! We will continue using this tag for the rest of the year. </p> <p>Our term started now on 18 January 2017 and school closes on 5 December 2017. I have made this into a competition for them so the student with the most SP on 5 December 2017, will receive a prize of 50 SBD. </p> <p>Hopefully this will motivate them even more!
