You go to work on a daily basis and it’s just the same thing every day? You are tired and frustrated because you had so many dreams and hopes and then life happened and it took you in a different direction? You still have the dream somewhere but you pushed it to the back of your mind, and all that is left is that one day.

Can you hear yourself saying:

“One day when I have time, I will achieve my goals!”

Why are you not doing something about your dreams now? What is really preventing you from reaching a specific goal? Could it be that your dream has changed now that you have been part of real life? Is it possible to configure an old dream you had into something new?

We all want to better ourselves all the time, and the only way that we can do that is to work towards a specific goal. If you are so determined then no obstacle in your way would prevent you from reaching that goal, but it is important to set realistic short term goals before you reach you end goal. A baby has to crawl before it can walk and we cannot jump from being stuck in a rut to our end goal without any hard work in-between.

There are a few guidelines to reach a goal and without following them you may go back to your old ways and just continue as you do now.

1. Make a definite decision. Decide what you end goal needs to be.

2. Make a written list of short term goals that you can achieve to get to your end goal. Each short term goal that you reach is one step closer to your final goal.

3. Make it public. If people know what you are trying to achieve then they will motivate you and it will boost your self-confidence to keep going.

4. Motivation is the key to success, so each and every time you reach a short term goal, celebrate it. You work hard to achieve these goals so boost yourself so that you can feel good about yourself.

5. Work out an action plan and stick to it. Even if you have to work on your goal part-time you can still reach the goal even though it might take you longer. Most important is not to give up and to keep going.

https://steemitimages.com/DQmd73NC2v4u5AFvdqmUiSzSE9NF3JyDTaPN74W5czMZvSQ/giantbear.png

https://i.postimg.cc/kg9QSSyS/powerhouse.gif

https://imgp.whaleshares.io/0x0/https://steemitimages.com/0x0/https://cdn.steemitimages.com/0x0/https://imgoat.com/uploads/f93f983524/109474.gif
