It's being very cold December this year with rain and thunderstorm became a frequent visitor to this city. There's no snow fall in this part of the world because we were tropical weather country that is warm and a lot of tropical rain all year long. There's only a few rare occasion where there will be an ice at the top of the Mount.Kinabalu somewhere around mid year. That's also unpredictable lately because of the global warming, we received a lot of rain that causing a flash flood in a certain area of Sabah. So, children seeing this scene of snow is quite an interesting thing and fun for them. Since the lockdown has been lifted, shopping mall has slowly allowed the entry of children and this at least can be a source of happiness to the children in this age to release their stress of being lock up inside the house all year long. When i see this scene, I can't help but smile myself seeing how they enjoying this man made snow even though they know it's not the real snow and some more inside a mall building doesn't even make sense. But to the eye of a children, because of their curiosity they see this as a fun thing to play with especially if there's a lot of new friends to play with all around. Even a stranger kids can become a friends in a short time. I never expect to see this scene as my main purpose to come in this mall is to find an electronic tools in the DIY shop located here which I didn't find in the end. So, I took my time to capture this moments seeing the happily kids playing with the snow. Hopefully next year is going to be a good year and safe for all of us spending our time outside especially the children. I feel sorry for the kids in this age for being locked up inside the house all the time whereas they should be playing and experiencing the outdoor life for them to grow. Even I as an adult are getting stress and my mental health is quite affected being locked up for too long. I hope this will be the start of a good thing to come. Have a great week everyone.
