The surprise announcement was delivered by North Korea (North Korea). Presented by state media KCNA, they decided to stop its nuclear activities.

In his speech, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said that the world has recognized the nuclear weapons they are developing.
"Therefore, we no longer need any nuclear test for inter-continental ballistic missiles (ICBM) either medium or long distance," Kim said as quoted by Sky News.
North Korea's decision was welcomed by its neighbor, South Korea (ROK). They claimed that the news was showing progress in the denuclearization process on the Korean Peninsula.
"The news will contribute to a conducive and positive situation ahead of next week's inter-Korean meeting," said Cheong Wa Dae, South Korea's Presidential Office.

In addition to South Korea, world leaders who pay attention to North Korea also voiced. Among other Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The 63-year-old said that North Korea's decision not to conduct a nuclear test was a step forward.
"However, the most important thing is that there is a concerted and thorough denuclearization action, I want to emphasize that," Abe said.
The President of the United States (US) Donald Trump in Twitter chirp called the North's promise is a good news for the world.
"Kim Jong Un also said the message would close his nuclear site. Trump said.

Kim and Trump are scheduled to hold talks in May or early June with five locations considered as a meeting place.
