Reading Passage:- Matthew 6:1-4


>1.Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

>2.Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

>3.But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

>4.That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.


When you render help to someone and you need something in return then you are doing business.
You can't help a poor widow and expect her to maybe send her children to be maid for you, because you helped her, it outrightly unfair, that means you have already run received your reward here on earth.

In the same vein if you only help those that greet you, those that help you,or those capable of refunding your help that means there is no difference you and the Pharisees.

If you help someone and the expects am applaud from the world, then you ha e received your reward here.

I would prefer you help those who cannot even repay you back. And when ever you give or render help be careful what you do least you would have received your blessings already here on earth and you know what that means.
