No matter the resources you have and yet can't use it then you definitely have nothing.
The picture above shows a man with so much resources but lacks the knowledge of using it.
The Bible says in Hosea 4:6

>6.My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

If i may pause to ask What are those resources that God has handed over to you, are you maximizing it?

Again the bible says in Luke16:8

>8. And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.

You know most times the unbelievers acts more wiser and knowledgeable than we believers, because they utilize their resources well.
You will see an unbeliever waking up so early to start up their business but yet a believer and a born again at that will sleep for long and after will stand up to misquote the Bible by maybe quoting Philippians 4:19  that says my God will supply my needs according to my riches in Christ Jesus.
Well this Bible portion might not come to pass until you stand up to work or use your resources well.

Its pertinent to know that some people would never handle some resources handed over from God because they are not matured in managing resources or better still the lack the wisdom on how to run Gods resources.

Some Christians are wasters. Sometimes ago my church had a theme of our tarry night were we came to pray and it was tagged ***"Gathering the fragments***"
Where Jesus was used as an example were he gathered the fragments from the left over he fed the five thousand.
So if Jesus was not a waster then we as his followers should not be.

Why we suffer as citizen of most countries is that our government tends to mismanage our funds.
Like in Nigeria you will see someone who studied Agriculture in school handling the office and resources of Education. And that person might not use the resources handed over to him or her from the government widely.

So in all you do get Wisdom.
Wisdom is indeed profitable.
I pray God helps us to be food mangers of his resources. Amen.
