.....it must be Bigfoot! Yes, fellow Steemians, today I'm talking about our friendly neighbourhood Primate, Bigfoot! Actually, I'll be talking about all the supposedly thriving communities of upright-walking ape-like creature that is found around the world. Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is the name for the creature as it is found all over North America, and is called Bigfoot due the huge footprints they seem to leave all over the landscape just before disappearing into thin air. Probably the most famous evidence that is used when talking about Bigfoot is the famous Paterson-Gimlin film.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patterson%E2%80%93Gimlin_film
This short one minute of footage has put Bigfoot on the map. And create a whole new species of Man, called The Bigfoot Hunter. But more about these guys a bit later. The idea of a Ape-like creature roaming the forests is not unique to North America, as stated earlier. Here's some examples of other creatures that can be found around the world: 1. Yeti - Probably the second most famous one, also known as the Abominal Snowman, can be "found" in the Himalayan region of Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. 2. Almas - Is Mongolian for "Wild Man" and roams Central Asia 3. Mapinguari - Hanging out in South America. Described as ape-like or slothish. 4. Mande Burung - Northeast India. 5. Hibagon - The Japanese don't like to be left behind and have been reporting sightings of their own Bigfoot equivalent since the 1970's. 6. Amomongo – Philippines 7. Ban-manush – Bangladesh 8. Barmanou – Afghanistan and Pakistan 9. Batutut – South-east Asia 10. Daeva or Div – Tajikistan, Iran 11. Chuchunya – Siberia 12. Fear liath – Scotland, United Kingdom 13. Fouke Monster – United States 14. Grassman – United States 15. Menk, Russia 16. Momo the Monster – United States 17. Nuk-luk – Canada 18. Orang Mawas – Malaysia 19. Orang Pendek – Indonesia. One of the slightly better know Ape creatures. 20. Skunk ape – United States. Another relatively famous one that calls the states of Florida, North Carolina, and Arkansas its home, although it seems to prefer Florida the most. 21. Yeren – China 22. Yowie – Australia. Them apes are Down Under too! Here's something that might even comes as a surprise to my South African friends here. We have our own Bigfoot stories, though it has gone into hiding for a number of years now. Our version is called [Waterbobbejaan](http://www.haxan.com/archived/freakylinks/WWWFRE~1.COM/FREAKO~1/TAILS_~1/AFRICA~1.HTM), which translated means Water Baboon. What I'm getting at is that sightings of this creature is not unique to North America. The reaction and the search for them however is. Enter, the Bigfoot Hunters or Bigfooters as they are affectionately known. Believe, me there are some real special characters here with some really colorful pasts. Wanna meet some of them? Just watch any one of the episodes of Finding Bigfoot, and then invite them to your town. Despite all their effort they are yet to prove one definitive piece of evidence that this creature really exists. Yes, there are pictures. We have a special collective name for them. It's Blobsquatch.
Source: http://www.biggamehunt.net/cartoons/someone-found-bigfoot
Could just as easily be a bear or a hunter in a ghillie suit. Video footage is not much better. Hair samples have yet to point to an as yet undiscovered species of ape, and usually turns out to the hair of a bear.
http://www.military1st.com/11963020-ghillie-suit-jackal-woodland.html
And I can go on. What really gets me though is that these Bigfoot Hunters knows everything there is to know about Bigfoot. They can tell you what it eats, where and how it sleeps, what sounds it makes. Evidently they are Nocturnal. Oh, and they knock on wood. They are an unfriendly bunch that will often through rocks and logs at you. Yes, they snap trees and saplings in half for no apparent reason. They are extremely curious and loves apples and candy. Yet, despite this fount of knowledge we have about these creatures, we can't catch even one? We can't get a clear picture? These guys goes stomping into the woods, yowling at the sky mimicking apparent Bigfoot cries. And often getting a response, LOL. Probably another Bigfoot Hunting party yowling away in another part of the woods! The silliness really does not end and if you add to that the number of confirmed hoaxes, it will probably never be taken seriously. Except of course by the legions of Bigfoot believers. So, if there is knocking in the woods, but no Bigfoot Hunter to hear it, was Bigfoot really there?
Source: http://bizarro.com/tag/bigfoot-2/
