I have been beavering away at my latest 3D model last night and this morning, fleshing out the bigger details such as the sidepods, the engine exhausts and the guns.

It's kind of difficult to judge the angles of the underneath of the wings from the reference, so I went on the hunt for more pictures and loaded them into an awesome program called PureRef.

In PureRef, you load in as many images as you like and are able to organise them, zoom in, pan etc to be able to focus on different areas of interest.

I have The Foundry's Modo open on my main monitor and PureRef on my side monitor, constantly checking out various details of the ship.

As usual I dropped the model into Keyshot to do a test render. This time I added an occlusion pass to make the shadows more pronounced in order to see the shapes better.
