Methods for the study of mental processes, properties and conditions. /part 5/
Different methodologies are used to test the switching of attention using test / stationery / instrumentation. One of the most well - known and used tests is the one with switching numbers. Another of the commonly used tests is the Schulte Test (s) in various modifications, one of which is the Red-Black Tables test; - methods of examining the distribution of attention - the distribution of attention, as a quality, means its simultaneous focus on the fulfillment by the person of two or more types of activities. Methods for studying the distribution of attention are also formless and instrumental, of course different in their design and level of complexity; - methods of examining the volume of attention - the volume of attention is determined depending on the amount of objects that one can at one time perceive at the same time.

A methodology can also be used to provide auditory and visual signals, the purpose of which is the same. A wide variety of methodologies and their modifications can be used in the study of attention. However, the principle approach is always to take into account the speed, the quantity, the accuracy, the quality and the efficiency of the activity performed. Methods of Studying Thinking - Exploratory thinking in experimental psychology is associated with great difficulties due to the fact that it is too complicated to find adequate methods for studying it. It should be noted that at the stage of the initial study of thinking, the representatives of gestalt-psychology have contributed significantly to the development of the methods for his study. In their work, starting from their understanding of thinking as a productive process, as the main element in the experiments for the study of thinking, they accept the creation, through the experimental task, of a problematic situation in which they place the subject under study. Accordingly, this provision is based on the methods they use.

The limitations of the methods of thought exploration that result from the work of the gestalists are overcome at the later stages of the development of psychological science, which made it clear that the psychological knowledge of the problem situation is not included in the content of the task itself that results from the situation , and in the effective attitude of the person towards it. In the study of thinking, the research work is carried out in two directions: study of thinking as such; as a mental process in general and the study of thinking in order to identify the individual differences between the studied people in terms of the processes and qualities of their mental activity, for the purpose of psychoactivity. However, it is of fundamental importance for the research work to reveal the essence and characteristics of thinking in general, the methods of studying the thinking of older children and the elderly have the psycho-diagnostics of individual differences. In this respect, there is a rich palette of a variety of motorcycles that can be subdivided into:

Methods of exploring the operations of thinking - are a method of exploring excess words, figures, objects, etc. ; method of matrices; - Methods for studying the processes of thinking - are a method of exploring the process of understanding; a method for researching the planning process; method for investigating the decision process; - methods of studying the qualities of thinking - are a method of speed and accuracy of thinking; a method of flexibility of thinking; wisdom method; - Methods of examining types of thinking - are methods of exploring practical thinking; methods of exploring creative thinking; the method of definitions; a method of comparing two or more concepts; methods of heuristic thinking.
