What is ***Purpose***? 

What comes into your mind when we talk about ***Purpose***?


Definiteness of Purpose is the starting point of all achievement, and it is the stumbling block of ninety-eight out of every hundred persons because they never really define their **goals** and start toward them.

There are people who never have any purpose in life. Just because they decided to or may not really know what to do when it comes to decision making.

Just think of it; Ninety - Six percent of the people of the world are drifting aimlessly through life without the slightest idea of  the work for which the are good and best fitted, with no conception whatsoever even if they are needed for such  a thing, as a definite objective towards which to strive and can lead to flop or tragedy in civilization. 

That is why I can say "***successful people move on their own initiative, but they know where they are going before they start***"   For example; When I first came to steemit, I was clueless all I had in mind was coming to make money. So I know I just have to write some few posts and the will my money be so I started writing just anything at all. My first post which is the ***introduceyourself***, I made 0.000 SBD on that post which sounds impossible but I did. Since then, I took it upon myself that I will find the way to the top and I was determined too. Along the way, I met @maverickivictus and he gave me some piece of advice that helped me till now. I later took my time to go through his post, that was when I realized he has some two major things he normally write about and these are helping others about his life. He write so well and and always getting to the top, becoming perfect day in day out. I eventually had a change of mind about how to write and what to write.

Everyone must have a Purpose in life. When we look into it further, **Andrew Carnegie** was able to realize this tragedy which made him able to inspired himself and to be able to influence some five hundred great American leaders of Industry and Business to collaborate in the organization of this philosophy of Individual Achievement.

Even with this, you may be surprised to learn that out of more thirty - three thousand persons who studied this philosophy, only two out of every hundred had everything even remotely akin to definiteness of purpose and that percent are the once who are succeeding. 

Among that two percent, are these great men; Henry Ford, Earl Nightingale, Lee Braxton, Henry J. Kaiser and Frank Vanderlip. They are some of the people who did not settle with life for anything short of what they want.

Talking about not to settle with life for anything short, These are not just idle words. That definiteness of purpose is the starting point of achievement has been the observation of thinking people over the centuries. It has been proved many times that if a person is really determined and work hard to get something, he/she can get it. If you have the ambition to start making life pay off on your own terms, yo must change your way of thinking and awaken your desire for definiteness of purpose.
