The only reasons I believe the Steem Blockchain is not yet the number 1 blockchain is because people do not yet know about all that Steem can do, and also because not many people know the huge difference of posting their content in a blockchain, and they do not even know about cryptocurrency. Just what mainstream media says, which most of it is non-sense.

If more people knew that the Steem Blockchain has services of the likes of:

1- Twitter - **This is Zappl** (just a few words to enter and an image)
2- Youtube - **This is Dtube** (upload videos without censorship)
3- Facebook - The closest is **Steemit** (without censorship)

And the Steem Blockchain has many more services like: Dlive, Dsound, and more.

 If more people knew that the Steem Blockchain is decentralized with no central controlling governance that would decide whatever they want

This would bring loads of people faster. The information on blockchains can't be removed or manipulated by centralized power.

If more people knew that the Steem Blockchain gives rewards to people in every region of the world for writing quality content and adding value to the steem blockchain and community, no matter country, social status, nothing. All are equal at the eyes of the blockchain

Much more loads of people would be registering to the blockchain. Yes, the steem blockchain does not ask you to invest if you can't. With your knowledge you can sign up for free and start adding value.

All this will start to happen this year 2018, once all the pending great developments of the Steem Blockchain start to flourish! We will start receiving announcements for sure on the releases and we will start noticing changes! Be just need to be calmed and patient.
