THE IMPORTANT POINTS I LEARNT FROM TODAY'S ZOOM MEETING.

1. As Christians when we have an opportunity to do good, we must do it totally to all men especially those in the house of faith and extend to others outside to.

2. The primary commandment in the Bible is to put on LOVE, because love is the bond of Perfection

3. Love must be rendered. The first commandment is to devote Love to God, the second commandment is to show love to our fellowmen.
*Matthew 22:37-39- The Bible explains to us Christians that we must love God with all our hearts, soul and might first, followed by loving our fellowmen like we love ourselves.*

4. Matthew 5:44 - I learnt we should show love to our enemies and remember to pray for those who persecute and seek to harm us. The idea of Love is to be shown to everyone.

5. God's idea and reason for asking us to show love is to welcome those who are evil into the kingdom of God. The only way we can interact with the evil ones is by an act of Love.
*Luke 6:35- I learnt that we must love our enemies without expecting anything in return because our reward is from God.*

6. The will of God is Salvation for everyone. As Christians we must be able to forgive one another, so we can be forgiven
*Ephesians 4:32 - I learnt that having a kind and tender heart t everyone would help us to forgive one another easily.*

7. Our manner of life must be worthy of God's gospel being steadfast in one spirit and soul striving for the doctrine of God
*James 2:16 - I learnt that If a brother or sister be in need and we send them out with helping when we have the resources to, that is evil.*

8. The act of being merciful to one another is an important commandment
*Matthew 5:7- The Bible explains that we are blessed when we show mercy, for we shall obtain mercy from God*

MY FORMER BELIEFS OR EXPECTATION THAT WAS IMPROVED AFTER LISTENING TO TODAY'S BIBLE STUDY.

1. A former belief that doing good is unto the house of faith alone and that good should not be done to our enemies.

2. Murderers are of the devil and if a religion teaches and promote the act of killing in the name of its faith, that religion is also devilish. They are regarded as a devilish religion who are disciples of Satan and killing in the name of Service to God
*John 16:2 - I learnt that a time will come when some people in a certain faith would think killing in the name of their belief would be a great service to God.*
It is not TRUE.. Murderous religion are tolerating evil

3 It is prohibited for members in faith or the church to file court charges against each.
The Bible provides all that is needed to settle court cases and other issues but we must have love for ourselves first.

4. The church is not supposed to be a plague to the society.

WAYS IN WHICH THE STUDY AFFECT US THAT CAN MAKE US A BETTER PERSON THAT WE CAN USE IN OUR DAILY LIVES.

1. Doing good means we are obeying the Law- The law in this context is SHOWING LOVE, by that we must show it to God, fellowmen and our enemies

2. Love is patient, love is not envious, love is not hard, love is not boastful and proud.Love must be demonstrated to one another by deeds and not spoken of

3. The Bible is sufficient for us to be good to one another. This is the doctrine of God and not the doctrine of killing one another. Our work is to ensure the doctrine of God prevails.

4. As Christians we must have a good conscience towards everyone in our daily activities and dealings with them
*Acts 24:16- I learnt in our interactions with God and our fellowmen, we must have conscience void of offence.*

5. We should know what is good and evil to enable practice that which is good, for God has given his preachers the mandate to expose evil.
*Isaiah 58:1 - I learnt that God has commanded his preachers to cry aloud and expose all evil*

6. We must learn to develop attitudes that is welcoming to other people not being hostile to People.

7. We must do to others, as we want others to do to us. This is the Golden rule of Life.
