I'm not trying to brag too much, but seriously, doing a half marathon at least to me is a really big accomplishment and one that I never would have thought myself capable of but i did do it and it was actually more difficult than a regular half-marathon because mine was off road. <center>  </center> I don't look at actifit report cards and I don't really expect anyone to look at this either but i am proud of it because about 2 years ago I couldn't run to the end of my street and back without a breather and on Sunday I did this, plus the terrain was NOT flat, it was, as the picture above might suggest....a bit off-road. <center> </center> It was all trails like that and I tell you, this is **exactly** what i need because if you give me a street and tell me to run 20 km I will give up in the first couple of km's. I hate that crap. <center> </center> Give me a path and some decent scenery on the other hand and I can carry on for a very long time and that is precisely what I did. There were 60 of us that started this run and there were 2 safety and "bail-out" stops. Only 38 of us finished because the terrain was mountainous and well, i guess it was hot. 38 finished the entire trail and I was the 5th person to cross that finish line. It hurt and continued to hurt for at least a day afterwards but I am glad I did it.
